Description
This is just a generic concept of the dark elf concept.
I pretty much had in mind light hair, purple skin, crazy clothes in a lunar themed design...plus some belly dancers at my local county fair influenced the skirt, as well.

The mesh layers on the skirt are done in acrylic paint, over watercolor pencil. I'd still like to work with acrylics over watercolor more...but I'm always afraid I'll just screw up the composition permanently.
I was going to draw dark twisted trees behind her, but I felt as though they'd distract from the rest of her, since there's already dark twisty things sticking out of her.

I'm not all "in awe" over this composition...I think I may even prefer the lineart version of it, better.
Oh well...they can't ALL turn out the way I'd like....now to go work on something else.
