Description
A commission from 's friend Sadie's little sister.
Specifications were for me to make a smexy bird version of Howl from Howl's Moving Castle.
How he was made: full-head rehair job, styled and layered
Wings: wire, clay, fabric, and feathers.
Tiny feathers are sculpted, with a base layer of Mod Podge, then acrylics, then gloss finish. His entire body is painted with acrylics, by a toothpick for the finer details.
(To avoid thick lines with toothpicks, I simply wipe the toothpick off after every so many strokes)

I think it's because I experimented with sculpting tiny individual feathers...I'm not big on sculpting, but I still experiment with it.
