Description Request for for giving me a month's PM.

As a reference to the classic Super Secret Secret Squirrel short "One Ton", a Pangoro of Pokemon XY playing loud polka music from a radio much to the annoyance of two unfortunate people. He didn't have anyone specific to be annoyed so I just chose Zeena and Zor of the Deadly Six of Sonic Lost World. I've drawn Zazz and Zomom before but not the others.

Maybe he's just misunderstood-ed?

Accordions really do get just so mocked. Yet this shows they have be used in a kickass way.  www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_wX7b…

Excellent job as always, brobino! And good choice for making it Zeena and Zor.

"Maybe he's just a JERK!"

I was JUST thinking of that one-liner too from the cartoon...but you already beat me to it.

Well, I've enjoyed 2 Stupid Dogs and Super Secret Squirrel since I was in Pre-K.

Definitely a great show it was...until season 2, though.

Well...some plots I didn't find as enjoyable as the first season and the animation looked a bit different. And they cut out the Secret Squirrel segments. It was too short.

Really? Didn't know they cut out the Secret Squirrel segments... (I was little though) So how did the animation change, and what were the episode plots you didn't like?

Well, for starters, the Little Dog's design and facial expressions looked a little off from how he looked before, and one episode was them in a pet store looking for a hamster that the Big Dog fell in love with. And then there was this other one where they were trying to get some soup...through spitting.

Yeah. And let's not forget that it ended on doing an homage to old timey black and white cartoons.

From what I have read on the production. Not how I would have ended the series, but it would do.

Which was your favorite 2SD/SSSS segments?

DollaWolla In reply to DandyAndy1989 [2015-04-14 09:28:04 +0000 UTC]

Hmm, it's been a while, but I'm sure I had lots of favorites, especially with their funny humor. For 2SD, I'd say the toilet seat episode was funny enough for me to act out with a kindergartner classmate (We playfully babble back and forth to each other "I want the toilet seat!"). For SSSS, I liked Queen Bea, and the episode where Penny briefly became a secret agent.

I liked the 3 part Red Riding Hood story arc. And I want the toilet seat, too! And there's the one where they went to a casino only to want to attend a hot dog restaurant only to end up cleaning out the casino of its earnings. And for SSSS, it's a tie between Hot Rodney, Platypus, and of course, One Ton.

DollaWolla In reply to DandyAndy1989 [2015-04-15 02:29:51 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, the Red Riding Hood trilogy was awesome. Funny moment in the casino episode where a pushy old lady hairsprays Little Dog, thinking they wanna beat her to the machines to win, then later loses badly at the slot machines herself; epic karma! All those other 2SD and SSSS were good too...

Did you ever notice that the one where he tries to talk to that girl he likes was his final appearance on the show?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DollaWolla In reply to DandyAndy1989 [2015-04-15 03:04:59 +0000 UTC]

So that episode was technically his "last appearance?" Fell in Little Dog's big hole in the sandbox, and what did Big Dog do? Abruptly covered it with sand, burying the poor kid alive! At first I thought you were gonna mention Kenny "exposing" Little Dog's "area" in another episode (they even cut out that part of the clip at one point...).

It could be pure irony; theory-wise, maybe he was constantly bullied by a lot of feral alley cats as a puppy.

And now, the one scene I am surprised was never cut out after its original airing. Do you remember the episode where the Big Dog's can gets locked in a superstore and they have to find a way to get inside and they think it's that they need shoes in order to open the door?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DollaWolla In reply to DandyAndy1989 [2015-04-15 04:07:28 +0000 UTC]

Let me guess: the strip show where a woman in silhouette removes her top and even shakes her chest? (And Little Dog's more interested in getting the shoe. XD)

TV Trope: Getting Crap Past The Radar. All those 90's cartoons with their innuendos... In one scene where Little Dog says 'caca' (only twice in the entire series), he wonders what people come to the drive-in movies for; camera pans out, and there's a bunch of creaking jiggling cars.

Ah! The classic Egg episode of SSSS. It was only technically held for over 3 seconds when Secret took a moment to wrap Morocco's egg and hand up in a giant bandage ball with chain and lock, and yet the egg still slipped out upon counting.
