Note: This lineart is very old. Okay? Okay. No commenting on that.Anyway, old commission for ~BitGator . He wanted his character being all calm and cool and him being all crazy next to him.
I had no motivation to finish this, but i somehow finished it during my week at Doirn's. She's ~*inspiring*~.
I think I went a little overboard with the shine |D I like it >8( Also, first time trying to make a scaly-ish texture. I don't think I'm completely pleased with it, but I like it here.

but yeah i think i gotta piggyback on xanithe's comment about the shadows/highlights. doesn't look overdone at all.

maybe i think it's overdone, because when i colored it it was MUCH bigger so it was all HUGE SHINE IN MY FACE

i think that highlights and shadows and midtones...everything is very well balanced...nothing seems to overpower any other element. well done.
