Sorry I'm going to get a little personal so..

Here is the reason why I loved HTTYD1 so much. The father-son relationship reflected my own. I felt Hiccup’s pain and I too felt like a disappointment to my parents like I didn’t belong here or something. In the beginning of HTTYD 2 you see how Stoick is incredibly proud of Hiccup and all his accomplishments. When I started college last fall my dad kept telling me how proud he was of me because I’m going to school pursuing my dreams and he couldn’t stand school at all when he was young so he was impressed to see me working hard. When I found out Stoick had to die in HTTYD 2 my heart broke and yet again it reflected my relationship with my dad because he died just a few weeks ago. I cried so much during the movie because I know how it feels to lose a dad. Both HTTYD movies are so special to me cause no other movie could relate to me more than anything.
