Yeah haha making it dark was definitely not my intention but moreso a "oh shoot I need to establish some things before I can get to the actual story and in order to do that I need to make it angsty at first" (like the Sonic Unleashed opening) 😂 it's definitely not this dark past this chapter which Is why I really hope to continue it someday. The rest is more early 2000s game canon esque as far as seriousness goes
