The new little mermaid actually looks pretty awesome in this novelization art work/

That being said i read first couple chapters of the book so far and as expected from trailer Flouder and Scuttle are now girls. also while 1989 movie opening had those on Prince Eric ship singing about Triton and his mermaids this movie seem to go darker in human fear of mermaids much like the humans in the Ariel and the curse of the sea witch graphic novel. it also feels like like movie Maleficent this re make of little mermaid will also give more insight on Ursula past than original film
