I've never spent as much time on a drawing as this one (10+ hours), which is why I'm so happy that it's finally finished.I named this drawing "Innocence of Summer", because when I was younger I kinda considered summer to be something magical...especially since I didn't have to go to school for two months. A lot has happened to the Bleach main characters and the road ahead will not be an easy one for 'em. I just wanted to draw something where they didn't really have to worry about the future and were able to enjoy the moment.
However fleeting it may be...

Out of all the characters Uryuu probably turned out to be the one who looks the most like he does in the manga. I was real happy with the way he looked in the drawing, especially considering that the last time I drew him he wasn't really cooperating.

Very nice. It's got a definite relaxed feeling. Just until a hollow pops out and they have to kick its ass for disturbing their relaxation.

Oh I do love the similar pic in the Bleach Calendar, and I think you did a great job here with the faces and the clothes--especially Ishida--I love the little Quincy shirt you gave him!
