lol Well, I love this game simply because of characters and armatization. Shallow? Yes, probably. lol The story for me is good, but it could be better because a huge chunk of the game is just doing excess backtracking due to the vast world map. I mean, the exploration is amazing and all, but some of that could have been filled with more exposition and more backstory on (spoilers). haha I also feel like the terms "malevolence" and "calamity" are too cliched. The camera thing is kinda poop-ish, the dungeon design is lackluster for the most part, as they're basically just ruins and occasional caves. My standards for a great tales game aren't that much, honestly....but if I don't like the characters or battle system (moreso characters), go figure. xD So yeah, I really like it.

Nah~!! I'm the same, I love the characters and the armatization too~!! Yeah, they could have done more work on the backgrounds for everyone, but it's like they stopped halfway through the game. Β :/ Β The characters are what kept me playing though, but it sucks they came up short with the whole story overall. Cried like a baby with Dezel's (spoilers). Oh, the feels. Β
