So I went to Planet Comic Con in Kansas City, Missouri last weekend and, by Sunday, I had managed to put this together and it is amazing! I've kind of just been calling it steampunk princess until I come up with a better name. I had someone point out that I could do steampunk princess Belle with it and I just might.Pictures taken by the amazing Kitty Krell who helped me into it since she knows more about corsets than I will ever know. She's so sweet.
(I did not make the costume, I just didn't know what other category to put it in)

Oh, god no. If my ability to sew a button onto something were the only thing that could save this earth from destruction then we'd all die. No, I bought the corset and skirt from Pendragon Costumery at Planet Comic Con and, while the politeness of their boss left more than a little to be desired, their work is wonderful. The accessories I got from various booths at Planet Comic Con in Kansas City.

Doesn't it? I almost wound up with a skirt that didn't match so well but had burgundy accents. It turned out to be too long for me and I took it back and got this one. Best decision.
