Hiya you just won yourself an ODD !
congrats !
ODDS (Oibyrds Daily Deviations) are a spotlight feature in my journal that I give to artists who are exceptionally talented and/or get lost in the crowd here on dA. All the info is in the link below If you would prefer not to be a feature, please note me and I will remove you from the list. Cheers

Very good, even though itβs not finished, you did a great job concealing the digital effect, it looks almost like a traditional painting.

Thanks - I seem to do somethings very well, and
totally lack skills in some other areas... still trying to
figure out how wrap one figure in some other
layer, for instance... appreciate the compliment
- I would've said the same about you!

I made about 50% of it, many thanks.
Took some references from a
french painter Corot, and found ways to
manip, recolor, retexture, etc
indefinitely! Almost all the color is mine
for instance...

Well thank you....
I just seem to go with a certain flow...
but the muse is not visiting much lately...
I spent a few months on that mythic scene
a few years ago, and never showed it til now!
More later....you are the master techniquewise
- I must use imagination since I think I have
insufficient technique...

Ah, you enlarged it. Ah, it's so beautiful! I'm looking very closely at it and I'm seeing a few areas that may need to be cleaned up a bit, but it's not bothersome. It's soft where I feel it should be soft, the texture is well used. Overall, a wonderful image!

Wonderful picture I must say..
The colours go so well together. And I love the way you took something so alive and gave it a more morbid and mysterious feeling to it all.
However, if you don't mind my criticism, the naked woman in the back doesn't work so well. I would have preffered seing her in a white dress.
For me, the trees and the sky says : mysterious, secrets...
But the woman: obvious, easy prey...Leaves no room to the imagination.
With the white dress you could let the viewers guess what she hides underneath it. Let them wonder..
But that is my opinion, maby you see something else in that girl.
I would like it if you shared your point of view with me.
Beautiful work.
And I am sorry for being a little rough.

Draped, semi-draped, and undraped figures
- probably the last two states most of all,
are all the norm in the western
tradition for the last few thousand years, and
its easy to argue the nude per se is probably
_the_most common figure in all western art
- but we're in puritannical times, esp in a
country with a strong puritan tradition that
is resurgent, and it colors many people's approach...
But you still have avalid argument on aesthetic grounds
- subtlety is always the most pursuasive -
thanks again for the comment -
more are always appreciated....
regards.
