Description
Superman/Christopher Reeve vs Regime Superman/Henry Cavill. I'm calling them by their actors' names due to how they look here and in the video game. I used PNGs of both Supermen to make this and a pic of the Fortress of Solitude; well I use Earth 2 New 52 Superman b/c that's my DC fanon universe's Superman suit. I put them all together in Pizap.If you wish to imagine Christopher Reeve as Superman and Henry Cavill as Injustice/Regime Superman saying the lines from the final battle of the game, then look below the lines are as follows:
Injustice Superman: I knew they'd bring you here eventually.
Superman: My obligations don't end at the borders of my dimension.
Injustice Superman: I am this world's savior. I protect it.
Superman: That's what happening out there? Protection?
Injustice Superman: Disobedient children will be punished.
Superman: Children? We're not gods; We don't decide who lives and who dies,

Reeve in Superman 1 and the Donner Cut of Superman 2, as well as Part IV and Routh in Returns were all Silver Age representations of the character. They are planet pushers, thousands of times light speed casual flyers and one of the most witty and intelligent beings in DC.
Sadly, Cavil is a Golden Era representation. He has a 100-1000 ton strength limit and cannot move at light speed, he has average human intelligence and wit.

My bad for reading it that way. Still not true though. Golden Age and the original versions couldn't lift anywhere near that level. Neither could Smallville Clark starting off and for most of the run of the series. Fletcher, Superman the animated series and the JLA series showcased Superman well below 1000 tons and struggling with less at times, although they were all inconsistent and also did lift more.

Golden Age Superman could lift a skyscraper, pal. Try reading them. Fleischer Superman punched a comet. Smallville Clark moved an entire planet. The only weakling Superman was the Bruce Timm version.

Well I was callin them by their actors' names due to their APPEARANCE not on their powers, fyi. Regime Superman resembles Cavill, while our universe's Superman looks more like CHristopher Reeve.
