Description
(Disclaimer: The Pic is by Zerna and the original Ref and OC is by Shade4716, other Irken is not Zerg it's Sadi by Zerna the tall one is Zerg)Name: Zergarikiaka
Nickname: Zerg
Height - Zergarikiaka has severe Marfan's Syndrome, which is characterized by excessive height, thinness, long fingers/toes, near sightedness, long limbs, heightened flexibility, and complicated by cardiovascular issues including a dilated aorta and stress on the lungs. (But due to being Irken, and thus lacking a 'heart' and 'lungs', let's go with part of the squeedily spooch being fragile. |D) A noted trait on her physique, due to having Marfan's Syndrome, she has some sclerosis in her spine, causing it to curve abnormally. This gives her a somewhat snake-like stance. Further due to the Marfan's Syndrome, her chest protrudes noticeably. Her exact height is 6'4", though with her boots on she appears to be 6'6".
Age – She is surprisingly older than she appears to be. She comes from a generation prior to Tallest Myuki.
Weight – Without her cybernetic ‘parts’ or clothes, she weighs around 90 Lbs. In full attire, she weighs around 105 Lbs.
Sight - by irken standard, Zerg is somewhat nearsighted.
Eye Traits - The outline of her eyes is a heavy tattoo that serves to function as eye liner. Her eye lashes are inked black to serve as permanent mascara. She doesn't usually open her eyes fully, so they're usually in a lazy diamond shape. Eye color will shift from gold to violet when she uses any of her psychic abilities.
Genetic Instability - Due to having performed genetic experiments on herself after running out of test subjects as a scientist, then being exposed to nuclear radiation in the field of combat (via arrest/drafting), her DNA is tainted with that of other life forms and in itself, mutated. These mutations affect many of her physical traits and are the root cause of her abilities.
Blood - Naturally colored a light blue shade. It will sometimes appear red in polluted areas due to chemicals outside the body.
Chakra - Covers a scar on her forehead somewhat. This functions to control and focus her telepathy. Without it she'd just be crippled by the noise of the thoughts of those around her, and psychic abilities would become highly unfocused. Also serves to reduce the frequency and level of her night terrors. The gem itself is Amethyst.
Telepathy/Telekinesis/Teleporting - Psychic traits resulting from extreme nuclear exposure and genetic mutation. Psychic power isn't overly powerful, so she's not likely to throw someone around with her mind. Usually, she'll use it to propel a weapon, though it can also move stationary objects that aren't tethered down, or stop objects coming at her. She may also use telekinesis to lock/unlock doors. Due to the amethyst gem on her forehead, she can only read minds if she looks the person she wants to read into, in the eyes. Can only teleport short distances, to places she can either see or has previously been, within a reasonable range. Her teleportation is also limited in how often it can be used, as the stress of telekinetic overuse can result in crippling migranes.
Abilities after joining: Chakra control (can walk on walls and water), fly, fire energy blasts, Hierro (technique to use energy to harden cells so that normal attacks can't hurt him, only pierced by attacks belonging to a stronger person), Flash-Step (super-speed technique), Pesquisa ( energy detection technique), can walk on air, summon corridors of darkness, Dark Zero (black energy wave, most powerful Dark attack), Barriers, Heal
Power: Psychic, Darkness
Aura: purple
Lack of PAK - Due to a major mutation of the genes caused by nuclear exposure, and the support of an internal perpetual energy device of sort (life core) integrated into her chest/spine, Zerg is able to survive without a Pak. Where most Irkens would keep their mind in the pak with a collective intelligence of sort, she is forced/able to use her biological mind.
Cyborg traits - Shoulder spikes and arm band function as replacement nerves and veins for her left arm, which would otherwise be dead and useless. Left arm appears deformed due to a nuclear blast which left with an under developed appearance. Shoulder spikes function both to regulate nerve sensitivity and blood pressure, and adjust adrenaline and other similar factors. Her shoulder spikes are actually made from the remains of what was once her PAK's 'spider legs'. The three spikes on her arm brace function to take in small dosages of solar energy to keep function retained when the main form of energy fails. The solar energy will not be enough to retain function if the brace is damaged. Each spike directly serves a different function, one works with nerves, one with blood flow, and the last works with muscular function.
Outfit - She wears a trench-style lab coat over a solid black assassin’s uniform, which really is just the same as an invader's uniform with a different color. Her pants are boot-cut black denim jeans. The lab coat has a red irken insignia on the left side, under a pocket, and is short sleeved on the left side. The coat's shoulders are cut open where her shoulder spikes stick threw. The lab coat's material itself is made of fiberglass cloth, which is a non-flammable fabric that can withstand 1000 degrees Fahrenheit and is difficult to tear.
(Seriously I did research this detail. Such fabric does exist.)
Claws, serrated antennae, and fangs – These are caused by extreme post-nuclear genetic mutation. Claws are strong enough to puncture or rip into metal, but they CAN be broken with enough force. Retractable.
-It's more effective to try to break her fingers instead though, just since that'd be easier.
Fangs serve no real purpose or use.
Antennae are extremely sensitive; enough so to even 'hear' brainwaves (thus telepathy). She can be crippled by high frequency sounds due to their sensitivity. The serrated appearance comes from nuclear exposure, and are sharp to the touch.
Gloves and boots - These retain their spiky shape and nature due to a metal 'skeleton' within the fabric. The gloves have three metal points under the fabric and the boots have two long points over the ankles and curling backward like hooks, and five more spikes on the back. The design of her boots and gloves is more suited for making kicks and shoves more damaging than otherwise. Her right glove has holes at the ends of the fingers for her claws to extend and retract threw.
Favored Weapon: "Arrowhead Bombs" or Arrowheads for short. These are a collaborated invention created by herself and Mar Sart. The metal exterior is sharp and designed to cut into flesh or metal when thrown. The inside holds three small glass containers, two of which contain combustable acids that react strongly to eachother, and one dilute base, which controls how strong the explosion is. The blast radius is exactly 3 feet - enough to kill a target if one embeds itself into said target, and not harm the nearest person. A small metal breaker inside the bomb shatters the glass when an impact occurs, allowing the chemicals to mix when needed, and not before. The total size of this is 3 in long, 1 1/2 inch wide, and 3 cm thick.
Personality - Overall, Zerg is a jerk. She has sadistic tendencies and often will mock her opponents when they're close to defeat. She often will prolong suffering if she can. She has some skill in acting, and thus may come across very different from how she actually is, just for the sake of throwing enemies off guard or possibly working out alliances. She favors solid facts and adapts well to changed environment, but she is rapidly bored by any prolonged details. Her biggest motivator is monies, and for wealth, she will submit to nearly anything at the right price. She is far from megalomania, and has no interest in world domination. Instead she prefers to research worlds and life forms, even though her methods are usually on the side of unethical. She's not afraid to kill in most cases, though she does feel guilt afterwards when things get quiet. The exception is that she's uncomfortable with harming Vortians, especially since her best friend happens to be a Vort. She doesn't outwardly express guilt, but instead just has awful night terrors. She has an extreme caffeine addiction, which was developed to avoid the need for sleep, and the terrors. She's very stubborn and usually only acts if she has some kind of motive. She has a dry sense of humor, and is often sarcastic. Often she'll come across somewhat cold and very calculative, often favoring logic over raw aggression. She’s almost always serious. She very rarely shows any great amount of emotion, unless simply acting out a role of sort to trick others. She has some minor resentment toward the Irken Empire, but continues to serve the Tallests to avoid any accusation of being a defective herself. She fully respects Tallest Miyuki, though she only goes threw the motions with Red and Purple, and is indifferent about Spork, as she never had a chance to work for him. She is aware that her genetic mutations could label her a physical defect, since her mind is far from defective. Despite her sadistic nature, she does occasionally display some empathy and kindness, even morality, though such behavior is really only seen by those closer to her or outside of fighting.
A little extra: Because of her extreme caffeine addiction, she may randomly go into states of caffeine withdrawal, in which she might very randomly fall asleep in the middle of something (minus fighting, as she can use adrenaline in place of caffeine then.), or periodically complain of headaches or other withdrawal side effects.
She will avoid cold areas or situations at any cost. Due to being very thin, she's almost always cold, and prefers hotter areas. May pass out when too cold. In contrast, she's able to handle high temperatures rather well, and has been noted to be more energetic. In a sense, this suggests she could be cold blooded.
Nutshelled Background: Zerg had been initially been a Biologist for the Irken Empire, geared toward the production of medications, steroids and serums to enhance and elongate the life of individuals regardless of species. She never had any military training or any desire to engage in any violent or barbaric actions, content to remain in a lab and work alongside her best friend and lab partner, Mar Sart. The two had crafted several inventions beside those meant for enhancing health, including a “Life Core” which was meant to serve as a portable power core and replace generators. They eventually became pressured by the irken military to engineer weapons, and steroids to enhance soldiers’ performance on the battlefield. One weapon produced under military pressure is the “Arrowhead Bomb”, which was quickly patented and yet never released to the military or general public.
Having dissatisfied the military by procrastinating in producing the desired weapons and steroids, the two had been terminated. Unwilling to change career choice, they resorted to establishing a secret lab facility under Irk’s surface, where they worked for several years on increasingly less ethical and mainstream experiments and projects, free from the eye of the empire. Due to the secrecy of their work, they often had to resort to using their selves as test subjects, often relying on the other to act if something went wrong. Eventually they were caught and arrested on several charges, and separated to be sent to different prisons. In the midst of her arrest, Zerg had snatched the old life core with her PAK in a blind attempt to take anything that could be of future help, and kept it preserved in her PAK. Due to a shortage of “Disposable” soldiers available at the time, instead of being thrown in a prison cell, Zerg had been dropped off at a military base on a nearby planet that had been at war with Irk for some time. The following day she had been sent off with other convicts as a distraction method to lure out their enemies and allow the Irken Elites to invade easily.
The convict unit had been completely annihilated by the enemy species, threw means of an atomic explosion. Zerg survived only thanks to the life core being lodged into her spine, as her PAK had been destroyed. Her left arm had been ruined by the blast, and lost everything down to the bone near the shoulder, and both shoulders had been ripped open. Radiation from the blast triggered the experiments she had done on herself, causing genetic mutations which rapidly changed her phenotype. She had been recovered from the battle field and hospitalized, left in a coma for several months while her mutations manifested.
While in a comatose state, she had to survive threw several operations in the hospital to manage her suddenly apparent health issues that came along with mutations, including the side effects of a freshly developed Marfan Syndrome. These operations essentially left her somewhat similar to a cyborg, leaving her with an arm brace to retain function in her ruined arm, and an internal life support fueled by the same life core that kept her alive threw the explosion, which externalized as her shoulder spikes. When she finally came back to consciousness, she was allowed to stay at the hospital for a year to adapt to her new appearance and physically stabilize before being presented to Tallest Miyuki as a “War Hero”, due to her survival. In that year she began to also discover and develop new psychic capabilities, which would be trained and focused later. Due to her changed appearance, it was not recommended to return to the scientific community. She instead had been ordered to begin training under Commander Syrenn, in his squadron of Assassins. She was not re-encoded as most would have been in this situation, as her PAK no longer existed.
Zerg spent the next ten years in extremely rigorous training, partially to make up for her lack of prior military experience. In that time, she made a prominent change from being the brilliant scientist who looked out for the well being of others, to a perfectly sadistic assassin. When the time came to prove herself, she was ordered to go out and kill anyone she wanted in order to demonstrate that death would not bother her, and disprove the theory that her kinder scientific nature would interfere and make her intolerant to murder. In a show of irony and sadism, she turned her claws on her own instructor within the minute. After Syrenn’s assassination, she began working for Tallest Miyuki directly, to protect her from "defects" and threats to her life. She then worked for all subsequent Tallests, up to the present day. However, with every assassination job she began to develop increasingly horrific night terrors which stemmed from guilt, leading to an extreme caffeine addiction and a steep demand for high payment for her service.
After years of service, Zerg wanted out and have the freedom to become a scientist again. She participated in Blood Sport for the wish recognized as a freelance scientist and have her partner Mar Sart freed. Meanwhile Revan searched for some more Irken recruits, an especially disciplined scientists that can lead his proposed Organization Keyblade's Department of Research and Development. Under Xanatos' suggestion, Revan watched Blood Sport, and found countless prospects. Xanatos recognized Zerg, from his former days serving in Tallest Miyuki as an Irken Elite commando, and recommended her.
Zerg at first soared through Blood Sport, but faced off a tough opponent to a stalemate. Finally it looked like Zerg will die in an explosion. Revan opened a dark portal and summoned a wave of energy through it. When it came to Zerg it formed a Barrier which protected her from the explosion, and in the smoke and dust was sent into the Dark Portal. When the dust cleared it appeared she died, thus having her listed as KIA and will be dead to the Irken Empire.
Zerg awakened in the Dark Margin beach, seeing a hooded man in a Black Coat and customized black shoes sitting on a rock. Upon introducing his name, Revan took off his hood, revealing himself as a 23-year old human with brown eyes and short-straight black hair. With him was Xanatos who told Zerg the truth about Miyuki's death, how it was a conspiracy by the Control Brains to be rid of a free-thinker. He also told her about the Control Brain's Pact with the Dominion, to create Operation Impending Doom II as a sham war to have Irk fight in a stalemate conflict. The Irken Armada will face a full frontal assault against the Resisty and other forces of the galaxy (making the Invader program obsolete), while the organization of Dark humans reap the Hearts of those consumed by the feelings of fear and hate created by the war, to form high-quality Heartless. Granting the Control Brains in return a share of the power of Kingdom Hearts to obtain unlimited knowledge and have a share in forming a universe and empire their own way.
Revan then explained their group Organization Keyblade, a coalition of keyblade and non-keyblade wielders who teamed to stop the Dominion and bring balance to the worlds. Revan even presented a gift: Mar Sart, whom Revan and Xan liberated from a Vort prison. (became a Resisty scientist but was captured) Revan then gave Zerg a proposition, to become head or Organization Keyblade's Department of Research and Development. Whose purpose is to conduct research to improve the Irken, Yautja, Earth technologies that make up Zim/Tak's base. In addition, they can invent new technologies, and sciences. Under her will be the intellectuals in the Organization like Tak, Zim, Dib, Stephen (Powersurge's human persona). As long as the work is ethical and within the Organization's interests, and of course answer to Revan, Zerg can lead the Department anyway she likes. Zerg humbly accepted the offer, realizing that Revan gave her freedom as well, now that she's "dead" to the Empire. As a final gift, Revan used his sword Keyblade Light's Shadow to unlock Zerg's latent power, greatly improving her stamina, telekinetic abilities/ teleportation abilities , as well as gaining some psychic abilities and the ability to fire violet energy blasts as well. She trained with the other members and gained the basic skills to supplement her abilities.
Zerg enjoys her new life, finding a kindred spirit in Xanatos, considering they both served under Tallest Miyuki and were victims under Irken Imperial oppression. She found an intellectual equal in Tak, Dib, and Stephen, who serves as some of her main colleagues (Mar Sart is her right hand) Overjoyed that she has the resources and opportunity to restart the "Life Core" Project, and are on the verge in making a duplicate, which will serve in providing the base with unlimited power. (meaning they no longer have to siphon Earth Energy) Gets along with Shadow the Heartless, for whom shares in bantering with. Gets along with all the hardcore members, like Rena, Darkamon, Darth Maul, Raven (Xan's Serrekin girlfriend), Zanna. At odds with Zim, Melody, Gaz, and the other soft-hearted members of the team. Gets along with Revan in an employer/friend relationship. Hopes to someday see the Dominion defeated and that whatever discovers, that her Research and Development will come across, will change the universe for the better.
A final note: Zerg speaks with a "Chicago accent". Further, she speaks in English, French, Vort, and Irken. Whenever she curses, it's only in Irken.

There's a few weaknesses hinted at and outright mentioned here. XD
- Migranes
- Sound sensitivity
- Cold temperatures
- Coffee addiction to avoid sleep and night terrors
- A 'dead' arm that depends on technology to function.
- Marfan Syndrome and Sclerosis (Which affect her heart and spine)
Just to name a few. |D

Really thinking about it, she's a pretty sicky character considering all her weak points. XD
I often mention it, and it's dang true about her, but... Basically all it'd take to kill her is to land a good kick to her stomache, or to make her stress herself too much. Due to the Marfan Syndrome, her organs aren't wonderfully resiliant. A common way to die with the syndrom is that the person's heart would rupture.
