The wig I got off ebay for like $3 and the fringe was from walmart for about $2 a yard.
Simply use safety pins to hold the "stripes" in place as you sew, start from the bottom, or you'll run out of wig to stitch!
Beware! Fringe unravels like MAD so don't tug on it too much!
I had to try to make a wig, since my brother has a habit of cutting his hair or dying it strange colors... It's currently flaming red right now... It's one thing for me to dye mine, but he's got black hair! It's just not fair!
If you are fortunate enough to have a "Kid" with real black hair, you can use spray or other coloring agents- Hot Topic has some for $3. Or you can try to pin this fringe into the hair!
No teddies were harmed in the making of this crappy wig!

synthetic hair is difficult to color with any real degree of realism, and coloring a black wig to white stripes is impossible- and i don't care for the sticky/stuck together look of that stuff from HotTopic- down to it- its much easier to achieve a straight line this way and cleaner too- as it were i already had fringe so this made my BUDGET KID cheaper! ^^

it doesn't look really bad but you also could cut out strokes of paper and then use the used paper to put on the wig then make wig a bit wet put on powder and if you're finnished then clean wig and then you can use it for something else or you can do instead of powder paint if you want to keep it like that :3
