Story:
After Marth seized the throne, he turned and saw Caeda running towards him, ready to reunite after the battle. He waved to her, only realizing too late that she was running right into a trap set for the enemy.

Caeda felt her body compress as it was slammed between two plates. They pulled away and Caeda felt herself fall to the ground uselessly like a cardboard cutout. She was worried at first, what would happen to her now?

Then she felt herself beginning to be picked up. It was Marth. He held her near weightless body out in front of him, and then proceed to pull her into a hug.

“Do not worry my love. We’ll get you fixed up.” He said, calming her worries as he always did. He put her under his arm and walked off to find a cleric who could help, this time being careful to avoid the traps on the battlefield.

Notes:
A much better title for this would be “This was a much better and simpler idea in my head.” When it first went into development the idea was just to have them both standing there, then I wanted to have Caeda running, then to have Marth walk up to her. Then I decided it would be a grand idea to have him pick her up and walk away with her, then I decided to have him hug her while she was flattened. While I do like how this came out, wow does it have issues.

I found out the secret to avoid poorly parented stuff looking really bad though. Just do everything that looks bad in like one frame and hope no one will notice. Like look at the frame where Marth actually grabs Caeda’s body. Its super jumpy and horrible, and has a massive amount of clipping, but its really quick and easy to forget and overlook it.

I do really like Caeda and Marth. This was sort of made for Fire Emblem 6’s birthday, which was yesterday when I made this animation. Ideally it would feature Roy and Lilina, but Lilina doens’t have any 3d models so I had to sub in Marth and Caeda.

Edit: I accidently uploaded a gif that had the wrong aspect ratio, which made everything look absolutely horrible. I am very sorry about that, it should be fixed now.
