Story:

Zelda waved at the pusher plates as they neared her.  She had just discovered a new technique for when she flattened herself.  Previously when she flattened herself, she was stiff as a board, resembling cardboard.  But now with the new magic technique she found, she could make herself into a piece of paper, all fluttery and able to be folded.  She braced herself for the familiar pressure as the plates got closer and closer.

When the plates moved away, and Zelda felt as good as she normally did when she flattened herself, something was different.  As soon as her feet hit the ground, she didn’t just fall over, instead, she crumpled in on herself, folding and rolling until she was a pile on the floor.  This felt amazing, and she was so happy with her discovery.

Notes:

I did it!  I made a cloth physic.  I want to give a huge thank you to Robin-nen ( www.deviantart.com/robin-nen ) for letting me know about this technique, and DistortingReality ( www.deviantart.com/distortingr… ) for his live streams which allowed me to see how he used an extension in Blender that let me do this.

So before I couldn’t move models very much when they were flattened or else it would screw up the armature.  But now I found a way to import them as a plane so I can apply cloth physics and stuff to them like that and I don’t have to worry about their armatures messing up.  This is a really fun new trick to play with and it really opens up a lot of what I can do with it.

Sorry, but I think I’m going to push back requests for a little while so that I can get used to this.  It shouldn’t take too long, and it should make my work look so much better once I get a handel on how it works.  You can still leave me requests and I’ll remember them for when I open back up, but as of right now I’m not going to do any of them for a while.  Anyways I hope you all enjoy the animation.
