Description

    Story:

    Hinoka sat down, waiting for her brother to appear. Not long ago she had gotten a letter from Corrin, who told her to meet at this location, so they could discuss the war effort. Hinoka didn’t completely trust Corrin, but she would take any chance she could get at rescuing her sibling from the brainwashing of the Nohr scum who had stolen her away.

    Starting to fidget a bit as she got bored, Hinoka swung her legs as she waited for her brother to appear. But as she waited, she noticed something strange. The room she was in was larger than it had been a second ago. And again, it kept growing. Or rather, she was shrinking…

    Shocked, Hinoka looked around, only to find Camilla, a Nohrian princess, standing in the door. “Hmm, expecting someone else?” Camilla taunted as she raised her hand again, and Hinoka began to shrink even further. This wasn’t a meeting for peace talks set up by Corrin, it was a trap!

    Still disoriented from being reduced to a few inches tall, Hinoka realized she had to try to escape! If she could get back to her army they could likely get one of their spellcasters to grow her back to size. She picked herself up and broke into a sprint. To her it felt like she was running as fast as she ever had, but to Camilla, who was looking down at her, she was barely moving.

    Camilla allowed herself a small chuckle before grabbing a glass jar on her waist. “Trying to escape are you? A shame to do this to someone so cute, but I suppose it must be done.” Camilla gently placed the jar on top of Hinoka, who skidded to a stop with her hands on the glass.

    “What is this! Let me out of here so I-” Hinoka shouted from inside her tiny glass prison, pounding her fists angrily on the walls, but it was no use. Camilla smiled down at her, clearly amused as the tiny Hidosian princess raged.

    This step of her plan had gone exactly according to plan. Now that the once fearsome princess was a complete non-threat, captured inside a simple jar, Camilla was sure the Nohrians would have an advantage in the war. Despite her hatred for the Hoshidans, Camilla figured Corrin would be happy to see her sister safe from harm even if she was pocket sized now.

    Notes:

    This was a commission for someone, who wanted to see Hinoka shrunken down and captured by Camilla. Fate would have it, but I started playing Fire Emblem Fates like a week before this request came in, so I understand some small amount of these characters. I probably butchered both of their personalities, but hopefully its easy enough to overlook.

Anyways I'm rather pleased with how this animation came out. I especially like how Hinoka keeps pounding on the glass for a long time after she’s captured. One this I’m not too happy with is how you never really get a good shot of both Camilla and Hinoka together. The angle they’re at means you pretty much only see either one or the other on screen at a time. The shot near the end has the lower half of Camilla visible, and the one before it has Hinoka technically in the picture, but she’s far too small to see clearly. I think it’s the issue of me making the table too low when I started. I should have picked a taller one that way Hinoka would be higher up when she was shrunken and I would have a better angle.

    Other than that it’s pretty good though. Let me know what y’all think of it.
