Have you ever heard of the mysterious plush shop? The one that appears in a random back alley and only the people the shop chooses can see it? No? Well you're about to find out that this shop is very real.
Our story begins with a boy named Dust. Dust was a tall kid of 16 years and is the middle child of an older sister, who works at a tailor shop and taught Dust how to sew, and a younger brother. Now Dust was always the odd child as he always wore a red cat ear headband, loved snakes, and was also obsessed with plushes despite his age. Dust also worked part time at the Mow Mow Cafe in Sunset Town. One afternoon while working at the Cafe his best friend Leaf walked in with a strange new boy, both of them were giggling and chatting with bright smiles on their faces. “Yep that’s Leaf for you, making friends everywhere she goes.” He thought has they sat down at the bar. “I don’t recognize that kid” Dust thought has he got a closer look at him “Did he move here recently?” He wondered before he turned to Leaf and announced with the cheerfulness expected of a cafe worker “Welcome to the Mow Mow cafe! What may I serve you today?” “Hey Dust!” Leaf replied in her usually bubbly voice “Meet my new friend!” She exclaimed as the boy cringed up for a little bit before holding out his hand to me. “H Hello my name is Michael” He said in a slightly high pitched, shy, voice. Dust shook Michael's and and replied “Hello my name is Dust.” “Now what would you like to order?” Dust asked his friends “Oh! I’ll have a Chocolate Cheesecake!” Leaf said. “Ummmm, do you have any Milkshakes?” Asked Michael “Yes we do, what flavor?” Asked Dust “strawberry please” Michael replied. “Alright one chocolate cheesecake and one strawberry milkshake right?” Dust asked “yes” both Leaf and Michael replied As Dust went to make their order.
When Dust came back with their order he sat down with them to talk. “So, how was your day Leaf?” he asked “well I made a new friend, that’s a plus!” Leaf said through giant mouthfuls of cheesecake. “And you?” Dust asked Michael “me? Ummmm” Michael struggled to find an answer, He looked a Leaf who said “oh!” then Leaf leaned close to Dusts ear and whispered “I showed him the secret and ate him. He surprisingly took it well and you know my nose doesn't lie!” Dust shot her a concerned look before turning back to Michael who was slurping his milkshake eagerly. “Delicious!” exclaimed Michael as he slurped up the last of his milkshake “did you make this?” He asked Dust “Yes, Handmade as well!” Dust replied “He He! Dust is a great cook!” Leaf bubbled “Thanks!” Dust replied “hey did you hear about that rumor?” Leaf asked “what rumor?” Michael and Dust replied “well there is this rumor going around that a special shop appears in alleyways and only certain people the shop picks can see it!” Leaf exclaimed as Dust and Michael sat in stunned silence. “But it’s just a rumor right?” Michael asked “hey you never know!” Leaf replied “Right, now let me get your bill.” Dust said as he went to the back and brought out the bill “here we go $9.50 is the cost please!” Leaf handed him a $10. “Ok 50 cents is your change, Have a wonderful afternoon!” He called out to his friends has they waved him goodbye.
It was now closing time at the cafe. As Dust cleaned and then locked up the now closed cafe he realised it was very late as the moon shined brightly as street lamps glowed. Dust began to walk home when he noticed an alleyway with a sign hanging on it. Thinking back to the rumor Dust slowly walked to the sign, the sign read in big blue letters: MAGIC SHOP. Dust walked into the shop. The shop looked old. The colors in it where faded and old looking merchandise lined the walls as a single lamp illuminated the shop. What caught Dusts eye though was what was in the back of the shop, a giant plush snake naga. The plush naga was a dull brown with its fabric torn in various places with a huge gash on its chest. It's eyes were lifeless and blank as its face looked locked in an eternal sadness. Dust looked around for a price tag or a sign on the huge plush only to find one on the end of its tail reading: " free". “Well i’ll just take it home with me, I guess “ Dust decided as he picked up the big plush and left the shop with it and went home.
