Description
"There are two sorts of curiosity - the momentary and the permanent. The momentary is concerned with the odd appearance on the surface of things. The permanent is attracted by the amazing and consecutive life that flows on beneath the surface of things." (Robert Lynd)Related content

How much did you have to pay them to line up like this?
I love humour in a photograph. There is too much in the world to be serious about. Thanks for putting a smile on my face.

You just cannot pay for the best things. And putting a smile on your face is one of the best!

All lined up - very exemplary...
Are they going to jump? (though that edge in front of them isn't too deep ) Or is there just something interesting down there to look at?
But it's kind of strange for cows to 'pose' like that, isn't it?

There was a ditch in front of them, so rather no jumping, I would say. As for the line up, probably a matter of shared curiosity???

Being cows I am sure they are rowdy vandals who tip sleeping farmers for kicks.

Whether you believe it or not: I promised them a piece of chocolate. Ok, no joking: they were just there when I came along on my bike, and I kept hoping that they would stay a moment longer.
