"What's happening here?!" the voice of a man has thundered.

He was a huge, beautiful man. Red hair, tattoos on the neck. Hard stare, very hard stare.

"Maximus..." said the slimy man. "He did it! He started it!"

"Who are you?" said Maximus to the boy that had hit it before. "How dare you hit one of my men?" he said approaching him.

Buzz didn't even have time to reply that a little girl came between them.

"Listen up! Who the hell are YOU?!" said Trixie with her high-pitched voice tapping with the finger on his chest.

"Uh?" Maximus lowered his eyes on her getting frown lines. "What..."

"Bend your ear to this! Your... "man" was bothering my friend!" said Trixie in a loud voice. "This guy just saved her!"

"It's impossible! None of my men could..."

"Instead that's kind of how it went!" She interrupted him approaching him and forcing him to back off. "You're lucky I don't call the cops but If you don't get out of here immediately, you deal with me! Do you understand?!" she said growling.

"Ok... calm down." said Maximus. " I can't say exactly what happened but I promise you this will never happen again. Don't you, Snake?" ask Max to his man.

"Y-yes, Maximus..." he said struggling.

Trixie was impressed for a moment by the authority of that man. He was almost... charming. "Ehm... that's all, uhm.. good." she said finding herself suddenly peaceful.

Dolly took the wrist of Trixie. "Come on Trixie, stop. Take it easy, too. Jessie needs us now..."

Maximus and Trixie looked at each other, but it isn't defiance. There was something else.

"Ehm... goodbye." said Trixie.

Maximus smiled. Trixie looked at him for one last time, then turned her back.

"See you... Trixie." he whispered.

ITA:

“Che succede qui?” Tuonó una voce.

Era un bell’uomo alto, dai capelli rossi. Muscoloso, tatuaggi sul collo. Sguardo severo, molto severo.
“Maximus…” Disse l’uomo viscido. “È stato lui! Ha cominciato lui!”
“Chi sei tu?” Disse rivolgendosi al ragazzo che lo aveva colpito. “Come ti sei permesso a colpire uno dei miei uomini?” Disse avvicinandosi a lui.
Buzz non ebbe il tempo di rispondere che una piccola ragazza si mise fra loro.

“Sentimi bene! Chi diavolo sei tu?!” Disse la voce squillante di Trixie che batteva sul suo petto.

“Uh?” Maximus abbassò lo sguardo sul suo aggrottando le sopracciglia. “Ma che…”
“Apri bene le orecchie! Il tuo “uomo” stava importunando la mia amica!” Disse Trixie urlando. “Questo ragazzo l’ha solo salvata in tempo!”
“È impossibile! Nessuno dei miei farebbe mai…”
“È invece è andata proprio così!” Lo interruppe lei avvicinandosi costringendo lo ad indietreggiare. “Sei fortunato che non chiami la polizia! Ma se non sparite immediatamente da qui ve la vedrete direttamente con me! Hai capito?!” Disse Trixie quasi ringhiando.
“Ehi… Sta calma.” Provó a dire Maximus. “Non so cosa sia accaduto ma non succederà mai più. Te lo garantisco. Vero, Serpe?” Disse rivolgendosi all’uomo a terra.
“S-si Maximus.” Disse quello divincolandosi.
Trixie rimase per un secondo ammirata dall’autorità di quell'uomo. Era quasi… affascinante. “Ehm… Ecco. Bene.” disse ritrovandosi improvvisamente tranquilla.
Dolly si avvicinò piano a Trixie e le prese il polso. “Su, basta, Trixie. Datti una calmata anche tu. Jessie ha bisogno di noi adesso…”
Maximus e Trixie si guardarono intensamente. Ma non era aria di sfida. C’era qualcos altro.
“Ehm, addio.” concluse Trixie.
A Maximus scappó un sorriso. Trixie si voltò di spalle e andò via guardandolo un'ultima volta.
“Arrivederci...Trixie”. Mormorò lui.
