Description At long last, the finale of the Shonen Jump Cinematic Universe has come! And what a ride it's been, from those scrapped ideas on my phone to some of my most beloved works on here, and I have all of you to thank! And now onto the main event, where almost everything on here is stuff I barely know about and the fate of the entire multiverse is put on the line.

Rurouni Kenshin
For our first series I barely know a thing about, Rurouni Kenshin is something I first heard of when The Mysterious Mr. Enter talked about it in his list of worst cartoon openings. Ah, that certainly takes me back to when I was a fan of him. Don't take it the wrong way, I just don't catch up that much with him anymore. But enough about Internet reviewers, on with the show!

Plot: In Meiji era Japan, former assassin Himura Kenshin lives a peaceful life with his wife Kamiya Kaoru and their son Kenji. Although he believes he's done adventuring and would rather spend time with all the friends he made throughout his journey, trouble strikes when old enemies rise from the dead as creatures called Venoms and Kenshin must relive his past in order to defend his future.

Post Credits Scene:
Beneath the setting sun, Kenshin has a friendly swordfight with a new arrival to his universe. "So you're a swordsman just like me, correct?" Kenshin asks Ichigo Kurosaki. "Of course, and I've come to your world in need of help." Ichigo replies calling a time-out. "I believe a great enemy is threatening the entire multiverse and we'll need all the help we can get." The Soul Reaper holds out his hand. "Are you with me?" Kenshin grins and takes Ichigo's hand.

Black Clover
Unlike last film, I sort of know Black Clover a little better from when I could watch it at a reasonable time when it first aired on Toonami. Compared to its other shows, I didn't show that much interest in BC because the first five episodes dragged on and decided to just leave it on in the background. But maybe I should give it a second chance since I've heard it gets better over time.

Plot: Asta dreams of someday becoming the Wizard King, but there's one big hurdle in his way: Asta doesn't have natural magic powers unlike his rival Yuno. But on one faithful day when Yuno was assaulted by a thief looking to steal his special four-leaf clover grimoire, Asta got in the way and discovers an even more special five-leaf black clover grimoire containing an Anti-Magic Sword that he uses to defeat the thief. From then on, Asta joins the Black Bulls guild who help him on his mission to become Wizard King.

Mid Credits Scene:
Izuku Midoriya is assigned to recruit Asta, Yuno and Noelle Silva by Future Trunks because they need all the magic users they got to combat the threat. Izuku is initially reluctant because he and Asta are basically the same, but Trunks assures him that regardless of that, they could get along fine.

Post Credits Scene: "Oy, why are you still watching this?!" Gintoki Sakata asks the audience. "Shouldn't you be outside doing something other than sitting through stupid credits just for hints towards another movie? Oh I see, you're all excited for yours truly, huh? Well, expect my movie to be coming out whenever. But until then, I'm just gonna go help myself to the concessions over there."

Gintama
Just like Gintoki said, Gintama is next up. I've only watched one episode, but it seems really entertaining. Anyway, this film will be much lighter than the previous two films to almost Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 levels. Then again, Gintama is very much a screwy fourth-wall breaking comedy series in the first place.

Plot: In an alternate timeline where aliens visited Edo period Japan and transformed it into a society of highly advanced modern technology, Gintoki Sakata lives out his days as a freelancer alongside samurai-in-training Shinpachi Shimura, alien girl Kagura & her giant dog Sadaharu, taking jobs no matter how odd to pay rent. But one job in particular sends Gintoki and crew on the adventure of a lifetime.

Post Credits Scene:
In a blatant parody of The Producers, the entire cast of the film start singing "Goodbye".

City Hunter
DAHAHAHAHA, MOKKORI! Another somewhat overlooked Jump gem that I barely know about makes its SJCU debut. Thank you Anime Hero for giving me a good idea of what this series is like and I really would like to find it sometime.

Plot: Ryo Saeba works as a sweeper in Japan, basically a mixture of a detective and a hitman. Anytime someone needs to hire Ryo, they must leave a XYZ message at Shinjuku Train Station that his assistant Kaori Makimura investigates before bringing the client to Ryo. However one client in particular proves to be a surprise: Light Yagami recruits Ryo in the hopes that he could assist him in searching for an ally of the enigmatic Prometheus.

Mid Credits Scene: Ryo gets another assignment by another unknown contact. That contact is two people, those being Kinnikuman and Kenshiro. Ken simply tells Ryo "We need to talk."

Post Credits Scene:
A young boy's silhouette is illuminated by the moon as he carries his sister on his back and is followed by two other young men.

Bleach: Demon Slayer
Ichigo's trilogy finally comes to an end and much like Thor Ragnarok, he's got another character to partner up with: Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer.

Plot: As the war against the mysterious Prometheus nears closer than ever, Ichigo overworks himself trying to prepare for the coming battle when he finds himself stranded in a world of demons. That is where he meets a young slayer named Tanjiro Kamado, his sister Nezuko and their friends Zenitsu Agatsuma & Inosuke Hashibira. Without his original friends to aid him, Ichigo allies with the four to help him find a way home and put a stop to Muzan Kibutsuji's plan to blot out the sun, making all demons effectively unstoppable.

Mid Credits Scene:
With some help from the Hashira, Ichigo repairs his Warp Watch and is able to reestablish communication with Trunks & Chronoa, introducing them to Tanjiro's group.

Post Credits Scene:
Much like the post credits scene for City Hunter, the lead character of the next film interrupts things to advertise his own flick. In this case, it's Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo who installs a giant sign promoting his movie coming next and tells the audience to get out already.

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo
Now this, THIS! I know more about! If Gintama was basically Guardians of the Galaxy, then Bobobo is a more PG-13 version of Deadpool except even more crazy than the Merc with a Mouth.

Plot: In a world where people with awesome hair are oppressed by the Bald-Shaven Empire, one madman and his friends is the only one taking a stand against Czar Baldy-Bald IV, and his name is Bobobo. Although lately, he's basically been out of a job ever since his anime series was cancelled and the manga's American run cut short. But one day, luck smacked our nose-haired hero in the ass when he learned of a big cinematic universe featuring works of Shonen Jump that he will be a part of no matter what.

Post Credits Scene #1:
"Thanks to all you beautiful audience members for coming to my movie and introducing yourselves to my awesomeness!" Bobobo declared taking a bow onstage. "The world really needs more manly anime anyway! Lately everything has been littered with harems, cute girls, being reincarnated in other worlds, being reincarnated in other worlds where a harem of cute girls await you...." However before Bobobo can finish, he is pulled away by a stage crook. "Hey, I wasn't finished! Be sure to pick up my series wherever books are sold ladies and germs!" Bobobo exclaims before he is taken offscreen completely.

Post Credits Scene #2: After escaping from the previous post credits scene, Bobobo sneaks away to discover the next film on the lineup: Saint Seiya. The Fist of the Nose Hair master then quips "Hey wait a sec, wasn't his English voice actor a total creep?!"

Saint Seiya
And now onto another series I barely know anything about! Look, I originally didn't have Saint Seiya in mind until someone brought it up in Phase 3, so might as well.

Plot: Out of the many Saints fighting on the side of the goddess Athena, none are as well known as the orphan Seiya. Trained to inherit the Bronze Cloth of the Pegasus from youth, Seiya made defending his universe a secondary goal compared to the search for his long lost sister Seika, who vanished during his training. However, he has to put both plans on hold when a mysterious threat known as Prometheus threatens the cosmos and all Saints are assembled to stop him.

Post Credits Scene:
Despite the Saints' victory against their unknown foe, Seiya is declared MIA after defeating him. However, it's revealed the power of Prometheus forced Seiya to travel across the multiverse at rapidfire speed before crashing in parts unknown.

Yu Yu Hakusho: Umbras
As the SJCU winds to a close, so does the trilogies of the original six members of the Jump Force. For our first taste of what's to come in the grand finale, Yusuke's own tale comes to an end as he's in for the fight of his life.

Plot: When Yusuke Urameshi believed he could finally retire and eventually train Seishin to become a Spirit Detective just like his old man, an old foe believed to be long forgotten by him and his companions returns to take revenge. Rando has finally acquired his 100th power from an Umbras Cube and plans on using it to destroy everything Yusuke loves in payback for denying him of Genkai's abilities.

Mid Credits Scene:
While hospitalized from defeating Rando once and for all, Yusuke discovers he has a roommate in the hospital named Seiya. According to Botan, Seiya has been muttering to himself about the coming destruction of worlds but then the mystery patient drops a major truth bomb: "Prometheus isn't coming. He's already here."

Post Credits Scene:
It's revealed that despite Yusuke's best efforts, Rando is still alive as he takes up an offer from the still-alive Galena to exact revenge in exchange for the Umbras Cube.

Medaka Box: Warbound
And for the final Jump Force member to wrap up their trilogy is Medaka. If the title isn't any indication, this features the long-awaited debut of her God modes. And yes, I mean modes and not just the ones the anime was able to cover. ALL OF THEM!

ALL OF THEM?!

Yep, every last one of them.

Plot: When news breaks out about Seiya's warning of the future, Medaka finds her seemingly perfect facade slowly beginning to break down from the stress over a forthcoming apocalypse. However, Rando reappears fresh off his fight with Yusuke Urameshi and demands the school president face him in combat on a new quest to kill all members of the Jump Force to acquire their powers. Medaka must give everything she's got if she wants to survive against Rando, even if it means nearly relieving herself of her humanity.

Mid Credits Scene: While Medaka recovers in the same hospital as Yusuke & Seiya for nearly draining herself of her powers in the final battle, Navigator reunities with the two veteran Jump Force members with a holographic message from Dr. Juzo Kabuto, who offers up a new recruit to the Force: his grandson Koji Kabuto.

Post Credits Scene:
Ichigo & Rukia are shown in a dark room confronting Light for more info about Prometheus. Light just snickers and declares "His plans encompass more than just our multiverse."

Mazinger Z
Mazinger Z was a Shonen Jump title and I needed an excuse to include Cutie Honey at some point, because shut up!

Plot: Koji fights to defend the world from the evil Dr. Hell using Mazinger Z, a robot built by his late grandfather Juzo Kabuto, who was a former colleague of Dr. Hell. However his piloting skills are put to the test when Dr. Hell becomes an ally of a mysterious villain calling himself Prometheus, who plots to dominate not just Koji's world, but all worlds as well.

Mid Credits Scene: While Koji works on repairing the Mazinger with Sayaka Yumi, Senku Ishigami suddenly appears with the intentions of recruiting Koji at Juzo's suggestion. The two boys become enamored by their respective qualities and Senku declares that Koji will fit right in while shaking his hand.

Post Credits Scene:
Ichigo, Naruto and a newly recovered Yusuke & Medaka begin discussing the threat the mysterious Prometheus would pose to their worlds. Yusuke is more willing to kill him off and be done with it, but Ichigo desires a more strategic approach. However the arguing will have to wait when the security systems begin blaring "WARNING! WARNING! PROMETHEUS DETECTED!" As the four monitor where he's at, Navigator reveals that, to Naruto's absolute horror, Prometheus is invading the Hidden Leaf Village.

Jump Force: Fallout
And so, the end draws near! As the post credits scene of Mazinger Z states, Prometheus is finally on the attack and is striking the heroes' homes. Despite the amount of new recruits they've acquired in preparation, the core members of the Jump Force are still divided. Goku & Luffy still refuse to work with each other even after making amends in Onyx, Ichigo & Yusuke argue over whether to head straight in or think of a plan, Medaka is still dealing with her humanity and Naruto is more focused on the safety of his people. However, they'll still finally come back together in time for Prometheus to reveal that he was disguising as Glover, but it'll be too late for them.

Plot: In the beginning of the two-part finale to the Shonen Jump Cinematic Universe, Luffy's fears are fully realized as Director Glover is revealed to be the enigmatic Prometheus in disguise, a Keyman of the Umbran race who plots to obliterate the entire multiverse and rebuild it as its new god. With the lives of trillions on the line, the Jump Force come together one last time to save all life from total destruction.

Post Credits Scene:
There is complete blackness following Prometheus's absolute victory and the end of the multiverse. We linger on this for at least thirty seconds until an escape shuttle containing Goku, Luffy, Naruto, Ichigo, Medaka, Yusuke, Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo, Rukia, Renji, Sasuke, Kakashi, Gaara, Zoro, Sanji, Sabo, Trafalgar Law, Boa Hancock, Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Jotaro, Kenshiro, Izuku, Bakugo, Seiya, Yugi, Kaiba, Kenshin, Ryo, Asta, Koji, Light, Boruto, Kane and Navigator (basically, most of the base roster of Jump Force plus some of the DLC characters and a few others) suddenly appears.

While most are mourning their failure and especially all the lives lost, they still refuse to lose hope. Goku however is more focused on getting strong enough to stop Prometheus for good, which sets off both Luffy & Vegeta's boiling points. The two rip into him for caring more about fighting strong people than the people who care about him that died helping him trying to save the worlds. As Goku begins to reconsider his entire life up until this point, Koji takes Kane, Medaka & Navigator away to help him send a message. "Who shall it be for?" Kane asks as Koji brings up an image of a beautiful blonde girl. "Just an old friend of Grandpa." Koji answers with a grin as he sends out the call to Honey Kisaragi.

One Punch Man vs Cutie Honey
Told you there was a point to featuring Mazinger Z! And look, even One Punch Man is along for the ride too, if only for the sake of proposing the potential obligatory fight between Goku & Saitama. But in all honesty, this is just a little breather after the insanity of Fallout and an appetizer before the inevitable final battle with Prometheus.

Plot: One is a beautiful android soldier of love, the other is an average joe who's just a hero for fun. As Honey Kisaragi answers Koji Kabuto's cry for help and races to assist in stopping Prometheus, she is encountered by the caped baldy Saitama. The two of them immediately butt heads, Honey over Saitama's lack of care towards his awesome power and Saitama over Honey's choice of costume. Various comedic hijinks ensue, but they'll have to team up eventually.

Post Credits Scene:
Using the Warp Watch delivered to her by Koji, Honey takes Saitama to the escape shuttle where the remnants of the Jump Force are hiding. Koji explains what has happened that resulted in him calling her and gestures towards the world Prometheus. "I'm in!" Honey boldly declares shaking Koji's hand. Saitama, having no idea what anyone is talking about, just says what else but.....

"Okay."

Jump Force: Final Chapter
"Good grief, it seemed like a lifetime ago. I was found in the woods, met Bulma, Master Roshi, Krillin; heck, everyone! But you especially Chi-Chi. If you're still alive and watching this, I'm sorry I've been so selfish and not thinking more about the people I love. I hope there's some way I can make it up to everyone, but now I just don't know what to do anymore."
-Goku recording a message for Chi-Chi while on the shuttle.

Everything comes to an end here. From the Onyx Book, to Light, all the way up to now, this is where our heroes make their final stand one last time in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, they'll set things right and end the threat of Prometheus forever and ever. I am just so glad to be finally done with this, and I want to thank all of you for keeping me going. My life outside of DeviantArt has kept me occupied, but now I finally have enough free time to close the Jump Force saga.

Plot: In the final part of the two-part grand finale to the SJCU, the Jump Force (everyone listed above) and their newfound allies (Honey, Saitama & Kane) must do whatever it takes to stop Prometheus and end his reign of terror for good. With a way to duplicate the time machine Future Trunks had used to reach the present day and a very plentiful power source of cola, the heroes are forced to make sacrifices if they want to live to see evil's end.

Post Credits Scene:
Only one that doesn't foreshadow anything as this is the finale of the entire universe. Yusuke is shown in the Spirit World watching as Botan trains Seishin to become a Spirit Detective when Raizen sits down next to him. "So, to think a juvenile delinquent would lay down the wire like that." he remarks with a snicker. "Yeah, who knew indeed?" Yusuke asks turning to his ancestor, and the two share a loud laugh. Yusuke then looks back at his son and declares "Make me proud kid."
