Description
An illustration I did for FFG for the Android:Netrunner LCG. It was recently spoiled as part of the Future Proof data pack, so I can post it online.Figuring out how to draw legs on a whale that's eating the cyberspace is harder than it sounds.
Corel Painter 9, Wacom Intuos 3, about two days.

Darwin's one of my favorite cards! As soon as I saw him, I started calling him "Darwin the whale-bear"Β Β

One of my favorite pieces from Fantasy Flight's Android: Netrunner. Β Any chance that you, or Fantasy Flight, will offer a tee shirt design of this? Β It's amazing.

Nope, sorry, I don't generally offer prints of commissioned images. That said.. wallpaper-sized? A whole whale-wall?

that is sooo cute -sorry it's not the meaning of it I knowxD - but the paws looks so right with the whale face, and so cuuuute and I want one TT just imagine that thing as a baby out of an egg...
kay I stop.
more serioustly it's really good, I love how you textured the skin, and especially the fin. The piece is really dynamic you could almost see the 'links' breaking under the strength of the jaw.

That, would scare the CRAP outta me if I ever saw it in the wild.
Yup, I'd be sporting brown boxers after meeding something like this...
