so, i know you don't think your scars are beautiful, but i personally think they are very beautiful... you're beautiful yourself, also. if it makes you feel any better about them, i have a cutting addiction, and i counted my cuts one day(about 140), and told my friend how many, and she said "well, they are you, you made them, so they must be beautiful, because you can only make beautiful things". i'm not trying to change your view on yourself or your scars, or saying you should, i'm just letting you know, whether you know it or not, you are truly beautiful~ and i absolutely love you for being able to get through it(even if you haven't)

You are truly beautiful, scars and all. I know what it's like to be driven to make such marks and I've got more than a few myself. I still find them beautiful, though. There is great pain in them, but you've earned the beauty in them through your suffering and you've made the decision to keep going, to survive, and to let them heal. I hope you're no longer struggling with the impulse, as I am, and I hope you never will again. It's a terrible addiction, but in the end, we are left with a beautifully flawed skin that shows what we've been through and how many battles we've fought. i hope this isn't too personal a message.
That said, I really like the photo. You look a bit like me. It's a very fierce image and the scars look very in-place here, as if they came from a different kind of war, one not against your pain. You're very warrior-like here and I like it.

Well, I hate my scars, I really do. But I accept them, and I can see how people find them beautiful in a survivor-kind of way.
I rarely have the impulses now, and when I have them I can control them and sometimes use them for good things. Yes it's a horrible addiction, it makes you blind and cold and full of hate.
I hope you (and me) get free from them one day, let them be ghosts of the past.
And thank you again, I really like that you see this picture in that way.

Beauty is not same for everyone, it counts the perspective of the beholder
There are different peoples and cultures, that add also scars. Is it as a clan allocation, or as a body jewellery.
That is why I find your scars not ugly, but make you to a special person

Yes, but my scars are not jewelery they are consequences of that I've felt really fucking bad.
A tattoo or scarification get you to adorn your body. Self-Injury, you set yourself really is not to decorate.

Very beautiful!!!! And I don't think you should hate your scars. It just shows that you have a strong heart and you persevered, survived, and fought through your pain to get to where you are today. If you think about it they're more like battle scars. I very much admire you for that and your determination shines through in this photogragh from your face and your beautiful scars.
