The creepy outlook in a darken forest with a creepy tree staring down upon you, light breaks the side into a hopeful new journey.
This is awesome! The tree's ghastly face looks nice, and the shading in the ground and trees are superb! The roots are a pretty good show as well, and the light in the background gleams marvelously.

This is stunning. I love the play of the darker colors with the lighter for a nice display of contrast. I might try and add a few more highlights later on which I know would change the color count but it might stand to bring out other parts of the image better. Either way, lovely piece of work.

Personally in an artistic manner, I think the darkness is awesome.. however you are right the whole thing could use for some lighter colors to really make things pop.
