Unlikely I will do a sketchpage for her, - why for? It’s only a human skeleton with ostrich legs I’m gravely tired of drawing her skeleton, too lazy do it more than once a year tbh, haha, - that's why the information that usually lies under the references will be here.
I do NOT give permission to use the character and/or image for role-playing or anything else, she is already used by me, already has own story and love of the creator, yo.
❚Basics
Name: ---
Called: Death
Title: phenomena
Age: Ancient
Species: ...Gargoyleceos [?]
Sex: Sexless
Pronouns: She/her
❚Briefly
HER HINES DOMINATION, FINISH-THEM-WOMAN, I'M A MZFK-T-REX at least when she was younger. She is a very memetic and funny character for me.
This is a character who can perform a typical "grim reaper's" functions, but she isn't a god or a literal personification of death, only a relative chuckle about it.
She doesn't have a permanent head, and she wears any other skulls [non-birds], but they break, unlike her main body. Her real skull is a dinosaur skull. And this is another one artifact.
Death isn't a "Saint" in terms of culture which started to use these nicknames for gargoyles. She considered as a "phenomenon", sometimes "enough natural phenomenon", and a "matron" for necromancers, and a "mommy" for Saints even if any of these options aren't true.
She is not a blood-close family of the gargoyles, but she is not a dragon either. A representative of a dead-end family line but still relative. So she’s not a mom to anyone, she just behaves tenderly with other birdies...a grand-aunt..?
This character acts in a bunch of other's stories.
❚About
She is rather wise due to her age, but her approach to the world around is quite peculiar. "Death" - her nickname, and the name becоme a word of different usage, including her ability. This, however, doesn't mean that only she can kill [there are still deadly diseases + roofs sometimes fall on locals' heads and smashing any-core into piaces]. But her ways are much faster and humane than when this process happened “naturally”.
She thinks that immortal potential of the Perfect Core it's a terrible error which leads to absolutely unfair endless sufferings of all possible kinds. It's sad in her perception. But to kill and to be killed - not the "happiness" too, she understands this well. Many of the gargoyles encounter this thinking, and they find different ways to alleviate their own or other beings' problems with it. Death chooses the way of "silent mercy", she tries to do "her work" almost invisible for the creature's eyes and to kill only those, who need this due to certain significant reasons. But she can make a mistake.
Death is a rather specific interlocutor, not the best choice for the most. Nevertheless, she has many contacts, both among necromancers of all kind, - her direct "heirs" and members of the relevant philosophical views, - and among her own so-called "family". She feels responsible for every living gargoyle, tries to invite them for rare but cute "family dinners", monitors their well-being, occasionally indulges by pleasant presents. She only a very busy woman: travels a lot, needs faithful assistants very much. In fact, her influence on the world is rather exaggerated in cultural myth [she is an ordinary unit, after all, her knowledge and movement are limited], except for really major disasters and conflicts, where she tries always to take part in time and very active [if she finds out about them, of course].
❚Personality
- Chaotic Neutral;
- She's like a maniac which plays god;
- Likes flowers and choral singing;
- Often unfair;
- Likes dark comedies and documentary films;
- She always has something to say;
- Loves to dominate in dialogues/in relationships/just to dominate;
Detailed
❚Phenomenon & Ability
In fact, her abilities are not the "energy of death" - there are no such things there, at all - she just destroys the links ... everywhere. Links linking the Core to body parts, the Core to Code, links within the Core, etc. After such an intervention, the links aren't restored by themselves + it's led to various problems for the ability's target if it suddenly survived. Problems like necrosis, but, you know, of typical MAGICAL LVL.
Of course, she doesn't use it for fun. She is not a human or a dolphin after all. She's MZFK-T-REX.
Death [irreversible dysfunction of Core's Gist layer] in this world is a game over, a black screen, and there will be nothing further. Not the afterlife, not limbo, nothing at all. Only a butch of garbage after a creature in which someone, of course, can find something interesting for themselves. And this is the nature of this world, and this is the outcome that this character selectively gifts.
However, here exist unnatural cheatings, fake deaths, Core reloads, and etc. funny stuff, which include basics of death, but isn't a true end. This character doesn't deal with such ridiculous nonsenses, she supports a good-old rest in peace for minds.
❚Necromancy
Necromancers were designed to repair holes that appearing after her work/mistakes or even to "fix" creatures, to stop sufferings another way. The launchers should resurrect bodies, to save the memory of creatures' appearance, to make them a "piece of art". The callers should "clean" world memory by a combination of died being's code garbage in ghost-like-shadow. And the modifiers should make creatures' bodies more durable and healthy, "fix a broken toy" by other toys' details. Although they act not always by Death's project. She doesn't have time to keep track of everything, so sometimes necromancers' actions lead to peculiar consequences. And it's her fault, indirectly.
But it’s better to describe all this at large under the representatives of these mommy's scavengers.
❚Goal
On the other hand, their life system is different from the one we are used to. The Perfect Core is quite difficult to kill, and often, the being simply lives in overcoming pain due to an error that has occurred, injuries, or mental experiences. Age isn't taking 'em. As long as there is someone to fight for them, random cases too. And the social system of Houses makes this moment of "help your neighbor" much more frequent. Also because of this, methods of immobilizing a victim for various dark reasons, as well as direct murdering, take many more perverted forms in order to be effective. Even suicide will be quite dusty and a long matter, since not every fall will break all layers of the Core [but can break the whole body].
If here we can say “It all will end one day anyway”, the locals can only hope that the suddenly fallen brick will not make them disabled for the rest of infinity. And the goals of this character support precisely the desire to say "they died calmly, without pain, in a dream."
Not everyone, of course, can agree with such perception of true-merciful deeds. Different cultures suggest different perceptions of phenomena, errors, diseases. The family also doesn't always agree with her. Someone, like Seol, will prefer to use her services, someone doesn't care much, and someone, like Imba, will prefer to take a hostile side in this matter.

Oooh! interresting character! It is rare that I find it interesting to a character who thinks he is God (including Loki of the MCU, whom I adore too much) ^^.
So, it's a new species? Are you going to make others like her? if so, are they going to have bodies very different from Death's?

Well, Loki is still a god, as I understand it, from Scandinavian mythology. But I don’t know his deep goals in marvel, I’m really not in the comic-hero fandom.
This one character shows a "game of god" when someone thinks that they will be able to solve some imaginary problems better than anyone else, personally deciding who should live and who should die. But she doesn't consider herself a deity. Closer to "Dexter", probably, or any other work about maniacs of this type.
Not exactly so, just when I was drawing this drawing, I realized that the same species cannot have completely different anatomy (the absence of wings aka additional limbs and any kind of cover). It is difficult to call her a "100% gargoyle", given that they have contrasting canons of appearance...and...em...build? x) It started to tickle me. But, as I wrote, she is a "gargoleceos". And I will not come up with a new species for her x) This will all remain in their local prehistoric times like the rest of the extinct species there. So, she's a "one-off species" here.

Yes, I know it's a god in the Nordic legends ^^, Loki Laufeyson in Marvel cinematic universe (movies, in all), it's not really a god, like the Asgardians, they're aliens who live very for a long time (they are very close to the elves, we can say ^ ^) their names of god (god of malice or god of thunder) are only titles, as for example: the knight of the night. And it is only the important people of Asgard who have his titles of god, the rest of the population of Asgard has no title. Loki considers himself a god before all humans, he has a sacred ego but he is super interresting (and in addition he is beautiful ^^ <3).
Me neither, I do not read super hero comics, I watch especially movies ^^.
Ahh okey sorry, I misunderstood. ^^ ""
I asked the question if it was a new species, because I did not understand if it was a rare phenomenon or a new species. : /
I think I had trouble understanding with Google translation. ^^ ""

Aaaaaaaaaaa, they're aaaaliens! Gooods are tiiitleeeees. Sounds logical! Аnd thanks for explaining, I really didn't understand this system before!
Understand you in this matter, dude! Yes, I heard that everything was different for comics, and then in films everything became new, and then they started releasing comics by the movie universe ... A lot of things for this one brain x) I can't find time to watch all new movies, they make them like on a conveyor belt x'D
Understood! Yeah, I think it was a separate over-old species Yes, probably there really were a lot of body variations, dinosaurs were very interesting dudes with interesting bones~

This is explained in the movie Thor 2, Odin says they are not god, they live and die like humans and Loki responds that except they can live for many centuries.
After that does not prevent them from showing off their divine titles.
The MCU is a bit of a series, we always hear the next episodes. XD
Yeah, dinosaurs are cool! ^^

I have to say, this is a fabulous image.
Very well-rendered and well-researched and thought out. The way you have rendered this with astonishing attention to detail and anatomy, let alone done in pure contour line drawing is phenomenal.
The linework is top notch. The outermost outline is thick, but flows gracefully and modulates thickness as needed, adding a sense of volume and shade. Excellent work there.
The inner lines are delicate, showing tiny shapes and form, such as the end of the femur where it joins the knee. Very well done.
Small details like the bones of the wrists, inside of the ribs and the hollow middle of the cervical vertebrae are perfectly done.
The color work is also fabulous, and done in such a way that perfectly harmonizes with the linework, not upstaging it or making it seem secondary, nor is it plain and ordinary. We get a sense these are old bones from a glance. I can attest, that is not at all easy to do.
Lastly, the ways you blended human and inhuman bones looks amazing and correct. The lower legs, hands and tail all look natural, not as if someone just slapped animal bones into a human skeleton to make it look interesting or scary. It looks like a real, evolved being that would move quickly and accurately in ways we can scarcely dream.
I have rarely seen a skeleton, rendered in contour lines so well as this. You did an amazing, fabulous job on this! You have every right to be very proud of this!
If I need to draw a skeleton in the future, I will be sure to look at your marvelous drawing for ideas as I work!
Wonderful work!10/10

You are most certainly welcome. You deserve the praise.
I also work mostly in contour drawing, and know it's not at all easy, and with highly-complex things like this, one wrong line can ruin the whole effect, even something small as a curve not quite right.
I try to be as detailed in my words as I can, saying what I like, what grabs me, and things that are helpful. Your linework is excellent, and even the delicate ones have a decisiveness to them that lends strength to the image, in this case, in the solidity of form. That's a great skill to have. I'd love to see more works like this from you. You could do things like spaceships and mechanical things very well with skill like this, never mind organic forms.
You have a great hand and eye, never doubt that.

Invalid quoting.
>Sex: Sexless;
I do not use the word "Gender" as it has very rich applicability:
"Gender is the range of characteristics pertaining to, and differentiating between, masculinity and femininity. Depending on the context, these characteristics may include biological sex (i.e., the state of being male, female, or an intersex variation), sex-based social structures (i.e., gender roles), or gender identity." - Wiki
I use "Sex" as the narrowest concept of "Biological sex" and no further, no social structures.
"Organisms of many species are specialized into male and female varieties, each known as a sex." - Wiki.
This means that her species doesn't have any genitals and they do not use sexual reproduction.
I use "pronounces" and not a "gender", since too many genders in our modern times and I don’t know 80% of the names that people came up with to describe their self-determination. To write "he/him", "she/her" much easier for reader's and my brain. If you understand this topic, think for yourself what the gender of the creature, which is neither a man nor a woman, but wants to be called "she" for no reason but she's not going to change sex. Probably such a gender word even exists. For me, this is not vital information about the character anyway.
