The most defining moment probably is the incident with the lunar ravens...
My parents and I were just on the way to the landbridge to the east island to get to Olde again eventually. I accidently walked through the resting place of many lunar ravens. They felt treatened and attacked. I was able to hide under a dead tree but my parents had no possibility to hide from the furious white birds. My mother lost both of her eyes in this attack and my father also got heavily injured. I took the fault for it upon myself.
Convinced that they would hate me for what happened I moved on on my own, going to Olde where the wintery cold nearly cost my life. I still regret to leave them behind just like that...
I became way more insecure and scared from that point on, terrified of causing such a disaster again and scared of living alone, with no one to help or protect me. This is where I really started to become a loner. Because of this incident I shy away from any social contact now, afraid that I could hurt others again...
Poor little Mira. 
Should I put a mature filter on it because of the blood or is it alright? I dunno.
And I tried something new with the background and shading, I kinda like the outcome.

a little advise I can already give you though is trying to make faces of your own, photograph them and copy them. then make the face you want to draw while drawing it. it might give you a better feel for it

Oh nein D: nmir tut mira‘s mutter extrem leid. ich könnte mir nicht vorstellen ohne augen weiter leben zu können. und arme mira, gibt sich selbst die schuld dafür, obwohl sie nichts dafür kann

gut dass wir im CW universum sind. ich hab nämlich geplant dass sie als gift (magische gabe) sixth sense hat, damit kann sie die umgebung um sich spüren und somit sozusagen sehen. ersetzt natürlich nicht vollständig die augen
ja, 13-jährige scheinen immer so zu ticken (hatte mal ne ganze klasse und Kiddi, als sie in dem alter war, scharf unter beobachtung XD) armes Miralein

ja XD und für Miraphy have ich vor "divine shapeshifting" zu erwerben, eines der seltensten gifts von allen. dann kann sie sich in andere tiere verwandeln und entweder besser fliehen oder besser beschützen XD als vogel könnte sie natürlich einfach vor gefahr wegfliegen, aber als puma hätte sie den perfekten körper zur verteildigung

Schade D: dann muss ich die story von ihr umplanen ... ich weiß nicht, bisher konnte ich mich mit olde noch nicht so anfreunden :/ ich glaub nicht, dass das religiöse zu ihr passt ( vom namen würde es passen da sie Elaine heißen soll aber mit fast keinen ängsten und auch etwas unüberlegt xD ( ich will mal nen chara haben, der bis auf eine sache, nichts mit meinem charakter zutun hat xD))
