The quality of the lines in reality varies. Mine normally are strong coz I keep pressing my mechanical pencil. Believe me, when I was using light strokes there was nothing that could be done for it XD

oh i see. i drew a new picture of altay with darker lines so i'll see what happens. I keep meaning to switch to mechanicl. XD

You can also sketch under it with red or blue, and then turn off these chanels. I do. Though I need PS for that. Thanks to that sketch, I know where to draw a line and can press harder

Sketching. Red sketch, black lines, turn off red and ya have a lineart

Interesting....I see that more and more people are using SAI :3 Is it a good program? :3 using Photoshop right now and learning how to use Pixia...

I can honestly reccomend sai - it's waaay simplier than photoshop, has all the most important tools and is pretty fast, compared to PS. The only thing missing is text tool and gradients, at least for me. And resized images look there soo good compared to PS2 *v* Smooooth....

Have been using it a long time so Im used to it..but simpler programs is never wrong is it >D

Told ya to lower saturation, didn't I? Just make it grayscale and it'll be darker than before
