Achilles/Briseis again.Copic markers. Once again I colored on the wrong side of the paper again though, think I need to try some other kind of paper and see how that takes to the markers.

That's beautiful. I don't know how to get my hands on copic markers and even if I did I wouldn't know how to use them. I love the shading and the folds in the fabric^_^

Thank you! I just started playing around with a friends pack one day and found I loved them! They flow and work pretty much like water colors to me, so much fun. They're a lot faster to use, then again I'm pretty quick with anything I paint/draw when it comes down to it.
This is one of my favorites this year, and glad you like it!

I love the way her eyes are closed - her vibe/expression fits so perfectly with the 'Protector' theme - and the way he's pressing his lips to her hair/neck... just wonderful.
And thank you for continuing to illustrate this pairing; the Achilles/Briseis shipper in me is very happy

Um...hadn't really thought about it, but yeah think they are nekkid underneath the purple fabric. Believe it or not the computer kind of cut out some of it's real vibrancy, the picture is even brighter than that, but it still looks good in this scan.
I always imagine Achilles very gentle/sweet and kind when it comes to Briseis. He valued her as his wife and not just some slave or prize, so I often like showing the affection he held for her. Showing that she meant more, and he would do what he could to keep her safe. Dawww.
You are welcome, I'm sure I have a couple more up under my sleeve somewhere. I adore drawing them!
