Asari reproduce differently. They basically clone themselves and use the DNA of their partner to alter that "clone"... DNA doesnΒ΄t have to be transferred for that- Asari can "read" it somehow... yeah itΒ΄s all scientific bullshit- but hey- itΒ΄s SciFi, so just go with it
