I am finding curious how overlooked character he actually is....every artist that used draw silvering I used to know never give any importance to this character at all

Which is a shame because I feel that Chinook is a more complex of a character than we give him credit for.
He is extremely prideful and egotistical, but at the same time he is a coward. You can see his relationship with his friends (mainly Todd) start to fall apart, and yet he still has a good heart beneath it all.

every good character must have flaws want it or not
the best characters that I know are usually always in shades of grey, nice example is Kreia also known Darth Treya (character from Knights of the Old Republic)
also its sad that nowhere in the books or Series we never saw more of other side characters
