I personally like the new outfits a lot. Much more than Ruby and Sapphire's and they're just as good as Emerald's. May's bandana was pretty notable, but I think the bow is just as good~ Brendan's hair should have stayed black, imo, but the brown hair isn't bad~ His tan is really cool, though~

I had the exact same initial reaction!!
Brendan's face looks too different & May looks way girlier now. I loved the bicycle girl look before, with the iconic red bandanna and gloves.
I mean, they at least kept Brendan's hat why couldn't they keep May's bandana? :I
I guess it's just me, but I really am in love with their original designs.

Lovely picture~ -w- I'm digging the poses and honestly, this drawing does their designs justice~

I'm glad they kept Brendan's hat but his outfit's a bit tight; I prefer him with pants or whatever. As for May, she looks perfect minus the bow; I preferred the bandana.

I think though that once you start drawing them, you'll grow to like their designs. It always happens with me at least. XD It especially happens when you look at fan art of them, really.

So beautiful! <3 I liked the design at first glance, but It took me 3 hours to figure out they doesn't have gloves, that makes me anxiuos, I need their gloves back ;A; I was surprised when I saw Brendan (if it's him lol) with brown hair + darker skin, pretty different than before but I like anyways >v<

I'm ok with the designs, I wasn't a fan at first but they're starting to grow on me. I think May's outfit is cute but I really miss her bandana and gloves ;_; oh well. The white shorts are adorable though.

As for Brendan, you're right he doesn't really look like himself! ;

Must be his hair that changed from black to brown.
