I think I could take more risks with color though. Just noticed I don't use much purple anymore.

Yeah I know the background color may be a problem. It's just hard some times since each monitor has a different setting... so what may look fine on mine might not look on someone else's screen. I'll probably come back to this one to see if another color would work better?
