I'm working with the program DAZ-Studio and I have learned it on that site : Daz-Schule.de [link]
It is a german site, made by fans of Daz for fans of DAZ, so knowledge of the german language would be helpful.
There you can learn everything from the basics to advanced art.
Postwork can be done in GIMP or in Photoshop.
