A cute mini Top hat I just finished designing and making. I know it's not Jewelry but this was the closest description criteria it fit in.Crafting time: 6+ hours
To be honest putting it together was rather simple. What made putting it together a pain in the ass was hand stitching everything. So many stabs...
Whatever though. For the end result is beautiful. Too bad I didn't care to clear off my ear phones and ipod before taking the pic. I had to rush to work when taking this photo.
The rose might be subtracted from the hat and replaced with other charms, such as a cute little bat, tiny pocket watch, an elaborate cross,or (my personal favorite) a heartagram. I do like the rose but I feel like it might take away from the chain corset I worked so hard on placing there.
For the record, I don't consider myself a Lolita per say. I do have some lolita outfits. Most of which I never wear (With the exception of my "White Rabbit" costume from Kawaii Kon 09). But I do dress lolita VERY RARELY.
Dressing Vampire goth, Visual Kei and Cyber goth is more me then Lolita. Hmmm....what if I combined.....YES! One day I will!
With more inspiration from people who like this hat. I may make more in the future.

Simply stitched it in. And note this, In case you decide to make one yourself, Use an industrial needle. Don't wanna break needles like I did

Good point. I was gonna add a bigger rose to the side of the hat so it dosen't take away from the corset in the center but you might be right. I was even debating on putting that first rose there in the first place. I might just leave it as is. Thanks a mil on the comment
