Thank you SO much!!! I always wondered how I could fix it!

also I accidentally saved this to my regular MMD folder instead of my tutorial fave folder so you're gonna get a couple notifs from me, whoops!!

It might be a EX or registered only function.
But Thats ok, all you need to do is request a trial version on metasequoia website!

I think you can also just [Join closed vertices] which I usually do when I get hard edges on models/parts imported from MMD.

I did try that, and usually, it does work!
But yeah, however, it still happens when I convert models or things into other programs.
(ie Meta to blender in this case)

In Blender after I import .obj files, I hit W and choose "Shade smooth" and the mesh isn't blocky like that anymore.
I don't know why they do that, but it's good to know how to quickly fix this.

Yeah! Funnily enough, I was following your UV mapping tutorial when this happens lol
I found the"Shade Smooth" option on that special options list but when I clicked it, it didn't 't change it.
Idk, I'm still a bit new and wonky to Blender so that was all on me.

You have to do it in edit mode when you have the mesh selected/highlighted
