Ah im so glad! Transgirl Ruby is such a good hc, and I'm glad I could make someone happy by drawing her!

I don't know if I can even explain why it appeals to me as hard as it does. Obviously some of it is projection: I relate to Ruby, so I want to see her go through things I do. But it also just feels 'right'. Her personality, her relationships, the nature of her enrollment being a sort of "fresh start" in her life. I think that's the big one. 

And as the main main character, she has a LOT of relationships to get to play that against: Coming out to her teammates, enemies who might prey on her insecurities, a loving family who you know was fully supportive, a doting older sis who probably went out of her way to make her feel like an adorable little lady, an uncle who probably made a point not to care, to keep it from being a "thing" to worry over.

Plus you have her reaction to Penny's "I'm not a real girl" and there is SO MUCH potential in that one little scene!
