Description
Check out the detail!!It's my first day at college, and just as things are looking low while I'm waiting for my ride, it begins to rain. So there I am, outside on the street with a smoke that I'm not ready to butt yet when I see this sad little dragonfly skeleton. It was just so perfect, I couldn't leave it there in the city! I showed it to some friends when I got home: they all think I'm sick!

Well I wasn't THAT sad, you're a dear. I just meant 'sad' as in, "Oh look what I know now! I wish I knew that before!!" But life is all about learning eh? Damn, I wish I never flushed that poor little dragonfly skeleton.

great image....but you might want to mess around with your ISO settings, because you seem to be getting some noise in your images.....

I just learned what that (ISO, aperature, shutter speed) is today, the camera is so complicated I feel so unworthy But I'll eventually get it, thanks for the honest critique on the graininess
That's why my piccy's are merely stock

yes, those setting can be quite a pain. i had to learn them all o a regular 35mm while in college, and learning them on a digital camera was like learning them all over again. it's really about experimenting. but at least with a digital camera there are no costs of development for the experimenting.
and it don't get me wrong, it was a great image. the wings especially. just would've been perfect without the noise.

Never appologise for telling the truth. I'm in my first year of Digital Multimedia and have had my camera for a few months now. I was just so afraid to touch it you know? Now I'm getting a feel for what it can really do, and yes, you really get your money's worth due to the savings on the lack of developing film costs!
Now I know who to talk to if I've got Q's!
