Selective Colour filters, levels bumped and voila! I may have desaturated some of the yellows and reds to give the shot a deffinitively cool colour temperature if that makes sense Have you ever played with colour layers in Photoshop? I'm currently addicted! To that, and to manual mode on my camera. I try to mix the best aperature and shutter speed on my camera, that and ISO, exposure. I'm learning, or trying to haha, how to not ever need to manipulate I'm very exited, it's a lot of fun! And I had a professional help me light the set. I'll be investing in a lighting kit soon too so I need to learn. But I think I may have done this particular setup. Either way, here I think we reflected the lights off the ceiling and, I think (it was a long time ago) we used a short rim light behind them to kill as much shadow as possible. But everything reflected in the small space and the lights were very hot.

yeh selective colour is my hook at the min as well.. also scarily enough im also investing in a lighting kit ?

yeh i just gotta start taking pictures again.. ive lost my motivation

You'll find it again. I find strenth and inspiration in friends who love the craft as well. I started a group on flickr for people in my area. Seeing what they find in the small city in which we live gives me inspiration to get off my ass and find things to photograph. I also have a few business arrangements with local musicians who sometimes need photos for newspapers articles and posters and such. That makes me want to get better at my craft for sure!

You're very talented, I'm sure it's just an artists block. Eventually, something will spark you up again

Melanie P's contact Breeze asked me to do a few shoots for him. Used a lighting kit from school and he hooked me up with someone who lights sets professionally, sweet hey? I think I lit this one myself though, cuz the lighting guy didn't make it until later. Thanks for stopping by Rob!
