Qinh Species Information

Size: Eggs and hatchlings are around 12in (~30cm) tall. They grow to be around 5ft (~152cm) tall at the shoulder.

Nature:Qinh are highly intelligent spirits that are believed to bring good luck. Generally gentle unless provoked, they will take great care to avoid harming other creatures. They are fiercely loyal and have a strong sense of justice.

Anatomy:Each Qinh has eight spider-like appendages on their upper back that can be individually controlled. Adult Qinh may rub these together to generate a bright flame on their backs. Hatchlings are born with a bony crest on their heads. As they mature, the crest grows more complicated, and the bottom part of the crest expands into a bony 'mask' that protects their head from harm. Most Qinh also have scales, and two long feathers used primarily to attract mates.
