The diversity in the overall design of these two characters is really nice. I love the seafoam greenish color on the one on the left. I also like the striped tongue on him. The bright blue drips are also a nice touch. The expressions on these two is absolutely adorable as well.

Your style is really interesting and I enjoy the fact you've created a fun interaction between two characters that doesn't automatically resort to being a 'ship'-type of picture, even though there's nothing wrong with that either. Your expression work is on point and very nicely conveys the contrasting personalities of these two characters. I must say, as strange as that tongue looks, it sure has a way of making one grin when you take a gander at Steve's wide-eyed reaction to seeing Mumbles, haha!

I don't mind if people ship them (one of my watchers came up with the cutest shipname, Stumbles XD) but these two weren't made to be a romantic couple
I usually think characters that are created only to be one half of a couple turn out bland, but that's just my opinion. I'd rather see how characters were before they met,
and then see how they fall in love, if that's what supposed to happen in their story ^^ Thanks a lot haha! XD

Sometimes it can make you slightly curious to see what one's own characters might look like or be like if they ended up with one another, but I'm not exactly a fan of forced relationships so I definitely agree with you it's better to let it be natural and let the love go with the flow. I'm glad you prefer to give relationships between your characters a real sense of purpose rather than just being for the "lulz" or whatever people are calling it these days.

That expression isn't really one of 'creepiness', just joy? It reminds me a lot of after my coming home to my father's puppy, and how she reacts, so I get a lot of those vibes from this piece.
Not sure if that's what you meant to do, but it's v v well done~

//coughs// Ah yes I try, I like having bishie ocs~ I absolutely love creating ocs lol, for my species I actually have a third one I made more recently named Lumos but I haven't 100% finished him so I haven't officially posted him yet, one of my most recents was a MYO slot of a closed species(Berserk) from an event, still gotta upload that AND now I wanna create another oc lol. There's this electro song called The Wizard and there was a NCS(No Copyright Sounds) release and the circle colour theme was blue(colours indicate which genre) so it inspired me to create a wizard dude and of course incorporated with the colour blue!
