Awww! Russel's always been my favorite member of Gorillaz for this very reason. The way he always protected 2D (and countless others) from Murdoc's psychotic behavior just made him so darn lovable! Recently, I've been hoping for Russel and Noodle to show up again to save 2D from Murdoc and his uber-creepy Cyborg Noodle.
