"I know," Dolly smiled at Woody, smiling at Bonnie as she fidgeted in a dream. "You think you'll never really love again. Then she picks you up and holds you and you can't remember what it was like to be lonely."Where was she now, he wondered? Swimming with rainbow fish through sunken cities? Running through jungles of giant flowers? She had tucked him in beside her. Maybe she was singing in the streets of a little western town, where she would need a brave and loyal sheriff.
Had he ever been this happy?
I think I love Bonnie so much because she reminds me of my little sister (who is not so little now) when she was that age. Big dark eyes, cute as a bug's ear. She's always been so creative and funny and different, a galoshes-and-a-tutu kind of girl. And she was always sweet to her toys. She even had a Godzilla who had his own booties!
I hope it doesn't need to be said, but any inappropriate comments will get you deleted and blocked without prelude. Be nice.

I think this one, and Behold a Pale Horse (it's his jaw) have been my favourites so far. The emotion you always catch in your eyes, and your little snippets make me so happy <3

This is absolutely gorgeous! I adore Woody's expression, and the way he's lovingly looking at Bonnie, wondering what she's dreaming. It's such a strong and beautiful thing to think that toys love you just as much as you love them.

The concept of toys' love for their kids just takes my breath away. It's all the sweetest kinds of love wrapped up together. I mean, Woody depends on his kid. He lives for nothing but to make them happy!

Bonnie has to be my favorite character in this new film, I was so happy to see such an adorable little girl love her toys as much as she does....and you're right. It's how it's supposed to be.

It broke my heart to see Andy give up Woody like that... these have been my favorite movies since I was a little kid. But I think I'm beginning to come to terms with the fact that someone out there might be able to love Woody just as much as Andy did.
I still have my favorite doll from when I was a kid. It was a brunette Barbie doll (one of her friends, not actual Barbie) that had joints in her knees and elbows. I thought she was so cool, because she could actually move like me, and looked like me. I seriously thought I could telepathically talk to her when I was a kid.

That's awesome. I think everyone should have that toy they really connected with. The toy I've had forever is Adeline, a stuffed dragon. She was always the mellow, dignified type, and she made sure I didn't have nightmares.
