Description
This is especially for , inspired by her latest delicious piece of fanfiction, in which Jareth tricks a grown-up Sarah into giving him ten hours in which to make her wish she'd never rejected him. It has YET to include a scene like this, but hopefully will soon, before my head explodes. So far it's been like nine chapters of posturing and maddening verbal foreplay.I was going to ink and color this, but I really like how it turned out in the sketch, so it stays.
Inspired by the lyric, feathers on my breath, from Massive Attack's "Teardrop". (Hear also the exquisite cover by Jose Gonzales.)

I reaaaally wish this was a print so I could frame it and hang it. I'm fairly obsessed with the line work and the shading and just how soft everything is. Ugh. Obsessed.

I can't believe I never fav'd this. I thought I had until I was looking through my favs and realized it wasn't there! A severe oversight on my part. This picture is just gorgeous. The detail on Jareth's hair is stunning, and you captured Bowie's profile perfectly. This is the picture that finally convinced me to watch Labyrinth, read Pika's "T-shirt Incident," and thus become a fan of Labyrinth fanfiction--maybe a dubious honor, but I'm glad for it.

Prints of some of my work are available at my Etsy shop , but this isn't one of them. I never saved this one large enough to make a good-quality print of it. Shame, that!

Um, yes please, this has to be in my favorites now! I love it, great work! Honestly, this is probably the best drawing of the fanfic if there are more..
And I'm glad I found Pika's fanfic real late with the 11 or 12 chapters than left waiting in the 9 chapters. I would've never had the patience..
But, she now left us on a great part, or with a fantastic ending, cause she did say on the last ch. she's working on the next part, but it's been years since she's updated the fic, so I guess she's outgrown the story and has ended it with all she has going on and with her working on her newest series of GND with Jareth and Sarah.
Anyways, again, wonderful piece!

I don't know if I ever commented on this. Did I? Probably not. I think when I first saw this years ago I was too intimidated by you to say anything. This and [link] are the two pieces that got me hooked on your art, even though I'm not a huge Labyrinth fan of any description. You just have a such a way with profiles, and delicate lines, and silhouettes. I mean, the feathers here! and the hair! And I love how the shape of his profile is echoed in her collar, like a puzzle piece. That single feather just floats over them like a breath; like a weightless possibility.

The idea of you ever being intimidated by me is hilarious and embarrassing. Whenever people say that, I feel like... If you only knew what kind of a huge dip I am every day, you would never be intimidated. But it's hard to say that, because I'm still intimidated by a lot of artists who are probably also huge dips.
I'd never noticed before, how his face kind of fits right into her neck space. Totally incidental. I was doing this, thinking, "How can I draw this and get in the most amount of his face without trying too hard?"

DUDE I was though. I sort of re-intimidated myself by wandering through some of my favorite pieces of yours again. I remember the first time you commented on something of mine (don't even know WHAT now) I practically keeled over. Lord, I remember when bri-chan started commenting on my stuff and following me, I thought I was done for. Now I've actually met her several times and I'm like pshaw what was I all OH WAIT WCMI *dies all over again*
It keeps happening over and over again; I over-idolize somebody and lurk on their art forever (whether it's fan art or gallery art or whatever) and when I finally start sending them messages they turn out to be shockingly normal. Shocking only to an idiot, I guess, but SO MANY NORMAL PEOPLE who are also FREAKISHLY TALENTED.
