One of the panels from my Labyrinth art meme -- you got cheated! ;DThis is my favorite scene in Labyrinth. (Me, and like, every other girl who watches it) It kills me how Jareth spends the movie up to then taunting and eluding her, making her quest pretty miserable. She's looking for him in the crowd of masqueraders and he brushes past her, laughs at her, teases her, and then suddenly there she is right in front of him, and she's all he wants. He's completely owned by her. It's that beautiful ballet of power. So romantic it makes my head swim.
I spent more time on this one than the other panels, and it's pretty, I think. The dark side of Sarah's face gave me hell, though. She's so impossibly beautiful that I can never get her right. But I think I did a pretty good job on Jareth.

I am one Labyrinth fan girl who does not promote Sarah/Jareth, but I must say, he looks strikingly attractive in this picture - maybe he looks younger? Something about David Bowie turns me off. I can't put my finger on it, but it may have to do with my childhood impression of the movie (Sarah as the kid and Jareth as the villain, certain nuances having flown over my head), or perhaps what my grandpa said all those years ago about Bowie reminding him of a salted slug... Nevermind. Suffice to say I enjoy him in this picture.

Actually, my favorite scene is during the beginning where the goblins are scrunched together and fed up with Sarah's inaccurate ranting.

This is very lovely. Personally, this always creeped me out a little in the movie, since Sara is supposed to be 15 and David Bowie is, uh, definitely not near that age. But once you get past that, this is a freaking fantastic scene.

Holy cow, I adore this. Labyrinth has been one of my favorite movies since I was little. I think I fell in love with Jareth before I even knew who David Bowie was! Anyway, this is gorgeous. You drew his hair perfectly, and the flowery thing in Sarah's hair. It's so beautiful! An instant fave.

This is impossibly gorgeous, especially all the detail in Jareth's hair. I really love the skintones, especially the pink used on Sarah's cheekbones. The movement in her earring is really great, it helps give the illusion that she's turning away from him. Really beautiful.
