Description
Labyrinth stole the kingdom of my heart, kicked the doors down, slaughtered innocent bystanders and overthrew the monarchy. It was a mess. I'm still recovering.Flagrant abuse of symbolism here, the basic message being that Sarah owns the King's heart, and sometimes she's careless with it. But how could she know? It isn't fair.
The Goblin King had NO intention of letting me draw him. It was a fight, and he was pissed, but I wrestled him down. Next time, I'm sure, won't be any easier.
This is a Christmas present for my Mom, who called dibs on it when she saw the sketch. (Love you, Mom.) But it's dedicated to , whose art (and especially her Labyrinth art) makes my heart puddle.

My friend just showed Labyrinth to me, and for some reason it immediately gained a spot in my heart.
No need to say your Labyrinth folder has been a true feast for the eye, and my inner fangirl. I find your ability to successfully catch their appearance with just a few simple lines (repeating myself, I know x'> ) And another thing that surely will be repeated, it that I really like the composition here. Well, yes it does, but that is also a charm about some older movies. β‘
And this movie is charming yet also exciting, and just has this unique
air about it, which is what I specially recall after watching it. (Which that
gorgeous official movie poster captures so well, I think. )
And that's the best kind really, not necessarily much fanart, but as many
as you wish to do. :-DD ( I often find my fandoms fading faster than I get
to realize planned fanart, which can be endlessly frustrating.)

Jareth is beautiful. He has this brooding, moody look to him that just fits the tone of the picture - after all, he won't be happy about being in love with Sarah (and therefore vulnerable to be hurt by her).
