I don't see this in a pairing tone or a perverted one either, much less a father-daughter situation, since Murdoc doesn't seem like the kind to... Function as a parent.
But... Yeah, I think it's a situation of compensating, both for Murdoc and for Noodle.
I like this piece, I loooove Gorillaz. And it seems you somewhat predicted Murdoc's attitude towards Noodle, seeing as how he recently made a Noodle clone to compensate for her leaving.
