Please meet my mascot, Bamboo !
She's a red-haired cat with panda fur pattern. I dreamed about a cat with panda fur, black and white, and i thought, what a wonderful cat, made just for me !
So i decided to draw her as a mini version of myself, as i LOVE cats and pandas, and my hair of course, this is a blending of the three elements of my personnality o/
I tried a new way of painting, i think i succeed, i have pretty much what i wanted

EDIT i changed his left eye that was too close to the nose, and added a little tooth (so cute little tooth kyaaaa

Bamboo is ADORABLE. I fell for this feline the moment that I saw this art. Basically, I want this cat and snuggle it forever!
Overall, this art gives the impression of meeting Bamboo for the first time. Bamboo seems a bit shy and unsure but, at the same time, full of friendly curiosity and wonder.
Bamboo just looks so fuzzy yet sleek. The way the fur is drawn on really gives you a good idea of which way the fur is growing and how the muscles underneath are set all of which look very believable with some cartoon-ish exaggerations.
The colors chosen for this piece really set well together in a pleasing fashion. The dusky reds really do well to bring out the brightness of the sapphire eyes which call for your immediate attention.
The shading and highlighting is done very well. You can clearly tell what texture is what by the way that the shadows and highlights lay. Individual hairs can be seen where the most light hits the fur that gives Bamboo a fuzzy, cuddly quality.

Very nice colors. The direction of the hairs on the bridge of the nose seem to be going in a slightly different direction than the bone structure would imply (just nitpicking
