EDIT No, I'm not choking her, I was comparing her to my height...I was bored one day and decided to make Sally. She's 5"5 and freaking heavy, but soft as a pillow. She frightens my family and friends! 8D

I was working on a life sized guy, but my mom threw him out because she didn't want me to make big dolls.

sewing question. when making the doll's head. how did you make the head round? what fabric shapes did you cut out and sew together to make the head round? when i make my beetlejuice dolls. i can never seam to get the head round.

I had to tug and tuck in the extra fabric by the chin/neck and sew it together to make it thin, didn't use any shapes.

wow what a cool sally doll. for me, i made a 5 foot tall cartoon beetlejuice doll. no sewing pattern. i guessed at what i was doing. so did you use a sewing pattern when you made your sally doll?

That's pretty crazy. I once made a life-sized Sally, but it was my Halloween costume. Very impressive doll.

Now, the barrage of questions: How much DOES she weigh? What's she stuffed with? What materials did you use? How long did it take to make her?
Once again, I have to congratulate you. I don't have much experience with sewing, but I tried to make a jean purse last year in my Family Studies class (and I'm going to try making plushies later this year), and the denim was hell to maneuver around the sewing machine! I hope whatever you used was easier to use! ^^

OMG, she's gorgeous. I would love to have a life size plushie of anything really but my bedroom is so full of toys there would be nowhere to put it.
