Okee, I know this is so cliched(sp?) but here goes. Dawn isn't human. She's not a fairy. She's not an anti-fairy either. Nope, she's actually a mix of all three. Pretty weird, huh? Other people think so too. Shy and not exactly eager to be near others, it takes a lot of convincing to show her true colors.Ah, the scanner totally ruined the shoes! they're supposed to be plum, but now they look navy blue.

Well, to be percise, her father was a human. One day he ran into a girl that was half-fairy, half anti-fairy(no, not Holly!) who was running from the law! He didn't know exactly what was going on, but he hid her anyway, because she seemed like a nice person, which she was. In return for his kindness, she stuck around and granted wishes for him, because she was able. As the years passed, they fell in love, got married and had a kid. Of course, the mother was hoping the child would get her father's human side, but no such luck. Dawn got all three. I know it seems weird, but this is the kind of stuff I think up when I'm bored.
