Oh man, I'm so glad this picture is finished! You don't know how long it took me to finish it, plus I left it for a while cause I did not feel very motivated at the time....Btw, does anyone know why Jak suddenly starts talking in Jak2 and onward? I thought he would end up like Naughty Dog's Crash, the silent type. Oh well.. hehe,
I'm actually quite happy with the way this picture turned out, traditional lineart with photoshopped colours. :]
P.S. : The picture shows Jak and Daxter holding Geels, a fictional type of fish (DuH)

As for why Jak starts talking (the following is an opinion, but like many guesses on the subject, there's no evidence to back it up, so the exact reason is a mystery), I think he either didn't really need to talk to get his point across (a lot like Link from The Legend of Zelda), or something happened to him at a young age that left him unable to speak actual words (kind of like WWE wrestler Hornswaggle's facade) until he was injected with Dark Eco, which didsomething that enabled him to speak.
